Is the cloud save available though?
Does it help to use Save a Copy?
What is the exact message that you are getting?

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.3.1 which is available worldwide now.

Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html

Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!

On Save or Export operation? Which one?
Is it a local or a network folder? Is it managed by a cloud application or not?
Does the folder stay locked after you restart the computer?

Toby, I wrote a script for this task specifically, because I too always need to create artboard-sized rectangles all the time — and since CS4, when multiple artboards were introduced, there is no native command to do that (before it was Release Artboard command).

Sure I won’t wait until Ai team adds this! They obviously prefer their cloud train and other major features the shareholders push, just like you said, from the top. No care about small things. Still I have hope.

You can put this script to an action an assign a hotkey, as I do.
Just rename the file to .jsx first.
    Hope this helps.

Can you tell more about borderless artboards?
What exactly do you mean? There are borders, which can be toggled on and off with Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+H, but this is not what you probably meant.
Perhaps a command to create rectangles for a selected or each artboards?

    Interesting...
A " does stay as " for me when copy-pasted, just re-checked, and I never had a problem like this.

If I type it directly, it turns into a proper quotation mark — in my case « or ».

This can be tweaked and turned off in Type tab of Document Setup dialog, but I assume you certainly know this, am I correct?

Full screen experience is something you can turn on with F key. Press it once to hide OS controls, and twice to hide everything except for the canvas. The third F will restore the default screen mode.
You can also press Tab to show and hide panels within any of these three modes.

'ALL of the dialogues' is not that specific :) While I agree, some specificity won’t hurt. Which is the most disturbing at least?

Toby, most messages (but sadly not all of them) has an option to not be displayed again.

I specifically hate when Ai says 'Ctrl + J does nothing', with an alert, instead of a non-obstructing gray label above, but I doubt you have the same issue as me. Which messages do you refer to specifically? Which are the most distracting for you?

    Updating is changing.
While this is true, the team certainly should consider problems users have.

I have no problem with resizing a photo placed in a document — can you explain how doe it work for you (if the issue is still actual)? Maybe share a video, to see how it behaves?

Also, I can edit effects to a text and see how it will look without pressing Enter, just with the Preview option checked — does it work for you?

    Tony, the location is
    C:\Users\[user_name'\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 26 Settings\[locale]\x64\Workspaces or something similar.

While handling workspaces is garbage indeed (no Update the Workspace button just sucks), I am able to handle them as files without a problem.
Can you see these in the folder?

I assume this refers to an already fixed bug, when customizing a panel was way to easy, and users dragged tool occasionally instead of clicking...
Does it still happen for you?

I work in print often also, and even worse so, I do it in metric scale, so 'mm' is what I prefer for all units, including type and stroke :)

Where is a way to do it in Illustrator.
You have to find the folder containing your document profiles. On Mac it’s somewhere here:
Macintosh HD ▸ Applications ▸ Adobe Illustrator 2022 ▸ Support Files ▸ New Document Profiles ▸ en_US (or the other language locale)
Open the Print.ai profile, make changes you want in Preferences for units (and also Paragraph styles, if you want to have your own custom default font), save it, and use it next time you create a new document.

There are many nice articles about changing document profiles that can provide more details.
    Start with this one: https://productivista.com/new-document-profiles-saves-your-default-settings/

Also, don’t forget to backup the saved file, because Illustrator tends yo update these without a permission on update.

Sadly, there is no video I can provide to proof it’s working for me, because now it does NOT :(
It zooms around something else and not the point I start the dragging from. Pretty inconsistent. So I voted too.

Hm, Stefan, it does work for me.
    Please also check
    1. if you are in GPU and not CPU rendering mode
    2. if you are not having Overprint Preview on
