Which object, what FX?
Does it happen all the time with any file and FX specific only? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Nope, there is no such a tool in Ai.
However, there is a Fisheye effect, that allows to apply a distortion to a whole object as a tweakable deformation, rather than e direct and final distortion that Freehand used to apply — Effect > Warp > Fisheye.
Also, there are custom plugins for Ai that add a very similar tool you want, like FILTERiT: https://www.cvalley.com/products/filterit5-2/

An error occurred while saving the comment Never experienced that on Windows...
Barry, can you record a video that demoes the bug? -
25.4.1 is available in Creative Cloud but the What's New section of the user guide only covers 25.3.

An error occurred while saving the comment Sounds bad :/
Sure nobody wants to release a brick, but sometimes very unlucky releases happen...Updates must be applied without you knowing, if you have the Auto-update option unchecked.
In your Creative Cloud app, please check File > Preferences > Apps, Auto-update. Is it off for you?I remember there was an issue with it, when it turned on by itself, so I now recheck it once in a month.
Also, can you share the file that crashes newer Ai, to sharewithai@adobe.com, for the team to check?

This can be done with View > Trim View command.
You can assign any hotkey you want to it.
There is also a Presentation mode, but it does a slightly different thing.
An error occurred while saving the comment It’ already here in Ai.

An error occurred while saving the comment You should have attached the image that Ai renders for you, because I have is displayed quite similar to CPU, both in Beta and released versions! The book, the textures, shadows... all looks fine. only some blurriness, but that’s tolerable. A nice dragon!
I moved it to bug reports.
As for the Area Type Auto Size — you definitely should make it a separate request. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, but why do you switch workspaces? I am not sure what you mean.
As for the gesture — which one do you propose? -

An error occurred while saving the comment Hm. I don't get why is it hard (although the mechanism is outdated for sure, compared to iPad one, for example)...
Here is how I do it.
I Alt+click with the Type tool at the most bottom point of the circle — this is where start and end markers are placed, so the text flows between them. Center aligned it goes on top (almost perfectly centered — because markers can’t occupy the same point and one is shifted slightly).
How do you do it? -

Thank you for reporting the issue. We have added the issue to our backlog.
With Best Regards,

Please also vote for itAdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Hm. I rotate with another Transform effect to change direction. It's not a bug, it's kinda obvious correct behaviour, but it would be nice feature request. But think about more transformative transformation — like Skew — how effect should behave then?
Also blur is set by pixels (which is bound to Raster Effect Settings), and Feather to document units (which is not). Both behaviours are useful, but I agree that both effects should allow to use both ways to set value. Please log it as Feature request.
An error occurred while saving the comment And if you ever make this, please make it an option, because sometimes (more often) I need to transform my shape without affecting it shadow.
