An error occurred while saving the comment Ginny, sorry for the extremely late answer, it got slipped by me. If I get you right, you are talking about the option you can toggle in Preferences > Selection & Anchor Display: Show Anchor Points in Selection Tool and Shape Tools. Once it’s on, you start to see points in a selection all the time, not only when Direct Selection tool is picked, same way as if the Bounding Box is off, but with the bounding box.
Does it make sense? Please try it. Hope you found it out on your on and all these years were able to work the way you like. -

This is fixed in 27.1.0 build 2.
The suffix checkbox was added into the Export As dialog to toggle on/off the functionality.
If it doesn’t work for you today in the latest build — please make a comment.

The latest Beta 29.4.0.37 now correctly treats a document as changed when a color code is paste into the HEX field in the Color panel with an object selected.
Please test it and comment back.

An error occurred while saving the comment Interesting. Is it permanent for this particular file?
Does it jump in place when you disable GPU?
Does it get updated if you move the artwork left and same distance right?
You are on Intel Mac, but what are your GPU specs?

An error occurred while saving the comment This is is one of those core problems which are rarely discussed and less obvious for new users. Some of them have a basement below, some don’t. Let’s assume there is one and try to think of problems that may occur if this gets changed. I can’t think of one, but may be it is obvious to you, Mark?

While this is an interesting proposal indeed, you should not forget about the Object > Path > Clean Up command, which shows to delete single points automatically. No manual search is required!
