An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment This related request deserves a vote too:
https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657-illustrator-desktop-feature-requests/suggestions/43218300-delete-from-recent-filesAn error occurred while saving the comment ...because without these I started thinking about a plugin that just adds several blank tools with lines, to create sub-groups in tool panel, like in this image.
An error occurred while saving the comment Ai used to have separators in tool panel, dropped somewhere after 2012, with a major UI redesign.
Now we can customize our tools panels, but we can’t place separators between groups we make.
Please, give them to use. Also look at related request about docked tool panels row stacking:

Hi,
If you want to switch the older control panel you can do that in 2 ways:
1. Go to Window > Control and the control panel will be shown.
2. Go to Workspaces and switch to Essential Classic, this will also show the Control panel on the top. Thanks & Regards

An error occurred while saving the comment Hm, Amélie, Illustrator already has Pathfinder, but I suspect you are taking about something different. Can you please elaborate on this? What do you mean by 'matching shapes'?

An error occurred while saving the comment 'Remove Redundant' seems to be fixed:
https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-bugs/suggestions/32914501--remove-redundant-points-in-pathfinder-options-ke
But why not to remember ALL options for ALL the things like this beyond Pathfinder across sessions?
Like Effects > Convert to Shape > Rectangle: Extra Width & Height? or Zig-Zag preset values? -

An error occurred while saving the comment This is very much undervoted.
Pathfinder should treat groups as single object and all it's operation should work for all group's parts, not a topmost one and deleting underlying. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Meanwhile you can use PathScribe plugin by AstuteGraphics, that allows to split selected segments into set number of smaller segments, or use the Divide Length script by marvelous Hiroyuki Sato: http://shspage.com/aijs/en/#divide
There is also the sneaky blend trick you can use, but why, when you have these :)
Voted still. An error occurred while saving the comment Manuel, this platform is not Adobe’s , they use third-party solution to gather these bugs and requests. So it’s not about membership at all (I assume you can’t use the product without one, so why asking)
The feature is a good one. Voted. -

The solution is pushed into Global Availability build 28.6.
The Previewed Page is now the default option for the dialog.
Here is an updated Help article:https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/using/importing-pdf-files.html
Congratulations, folks! Took us 5.5 years to get it!

An error occurred while saving the comment I stepped on these rakes sooo many times! :)
Basically 'Link the viewed page number to the Range value until I change the latter', right? An error occurred while saving the comment While I understand your frustration (I too fell in this trap many times), this is harder than you think. The window now shows you only one page previewed, while you can load many. That’s why two fields: one for choosing a page to preview, and another for a range to load. But yes, this is not very convenient.
On the other hand, Photoshop can show all pages as miniatures and allow you to pick (and also I sometimes want to disable these previews, because it takes Ps too much time to render these; team, please take a note).

An error occurred while saving the comment Kayla, but why don't you increase the UI Scaling in Preferences > User Interface?
