77 votesThis often happens when the bounding box gets accidentally turned off, presumably with the Cmd/Ctrl+Shift + B hotkey. You can turn it back on with this key or do it with the View > Show Bounding Box command.
Another possible reason is having edges hidden, with Cmd/Ctrl + H (View > Show Edges).
If this doesn’t help, please comment.

We have this issue fixed, please refer to steps below to solve the issue
XD defaulting to AI on Windows

We have the fix available in the latest release. Please update Illustrator using Adobe Creative Cloud application to the latest build for version Illustrator CC 22.1.

Even thought the workaround with the script (PNGResolutionReset.jsx) did the trick, it's now the way it should be. Thank you for your fast response.Anonymous

Making the export location stick with every file is just that exact behavoir I would expect! This will make things a LOT easier (,again, as they were before). THANX A LOT!
