It is not as straightforward as it may sound :) We have been working to take advantage of threads and other hardware such as GPU/Video RAM in places where it can make a higher impact. We are prioritizing areas that are slow instead of making a generic change and destabilizing the product. Product stability is the top priority for us and we have been consistently trying to improve it. We want to move with caution and make changes without compromising on the quality. Hope this helps.

これができるととても便利です。
特に私の場合、テキスト入力の状態で一番確認したいのは、フォントや文字サイズなどであって、テキストオブジェクトの変形ではありません。
ですが、プロパティパネルでは変形の項目が一番上にあるため非常に使いづらくなっています。
同じような方が多いのであれば個別の要望になるのでしょうが、そうでない場合はプロパティパネルを使わないという選択肢しかないと思います。
もし、カスタマイズできるのであれば、他のパネルを使うことが少なくなり、作業効率が格段に上がります。CS5 omachi

So it’s obviously not fixed, and we all know it.
While the cursor gets changes into the horizontal/vertical two-headed arrow, the center handles for the bounding box indeed don’t appear, if the width/height of the art (here just an orthogonal line) is small enough.
Please continue to share you thought, screenshots, GIFs. It’s time to re-review this again.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 23.0.6 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

大いに同意します。ひと手間増えてUIが悪くなっています。CC2018以前の仕様に戻してください。
I agree much. The UI is getting worse with more effort. Please return to specification before CC2018.
