An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedNot sure where this belongs. I am disappointed Adobe does not make older software available for download. In production environments changing software yearly is not practical. Custom scripts are optimized for a specific version and "upgrading" software is usually of no value since we are not working with any of the "spiffy" new features anyway.
Another reason AI CC 2015 is important to our workflow is how it works with the Adobe EmojiOne font. This font renders ONLY in color on the latest versions of Illustrator. But in AI CC 2015 the font renders in black and white. Why Adobe has chosen to disable the black and white emojis is beyond me. There are MANY reasons it should remain available.

The choice of the type of a symbol is sticky in the latest version of Illustrator. If a user toggles it to Static, it remains Static when another symbol is created — and vice versa.
An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedYes, 9-times-out of-10 I want a STATIC Symbol. Please give us the option to work more efficiently instead of changing work habits because an Adobe programmer likes a new feature.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedYes!! Anywhere there is a percentage or numeric slider it should work like Photoshop where a click-n-slide on the item title (i.e., "Opacity") adjusts the number WITHOUT clicking to open annoying popup just to then click again to adjust a slider!!!!

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI'd use InDesign but it does not export DXF directly.

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedHad this today. I opened the file in Acrobat, Saved as EPS and reopened in AI. Problem was resolved. This is just a workaround not a fix.

Thanks for reporting this issue and sorry for the inconvenience caused. We are able to reproduce this issue at our end and it is currently under review.
Thanks

Illustrator TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedYep. But with 5 votes it will never be changed. Adobe is driven by user demand not logical functionality.

I am happy to share that ‘Auto spell-check’ feature has been shipped in the latest version of Illustrator. Here is how to enable/disable it in the latest release : https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/whats-new/2020.html#spellcheck
