This is obviously not fixed and requires further inspection.

And it’s now in Beta 28.1.0.100 and you can try it and see if it works as expected. This really feels like a fixed bug, something we all should have had from the day inside/outside strokes got introduced.
Please, give it a go and comment back!

We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.
An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedIt is great to see this feature coming to Illustrator. As Richard already pointed out it would be helpful, to be able to place the dimensions manually once I clicked either a path or clicked two points.
1) define what gets measured
2) position the measurement
3) if the user likes it placed according to the preferences a double-click could doThanks!

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 27.1.1 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.

An error occurred while saving the comment Rene Andritsch commentedI think there are general rendering issues with paths. Look at my examples with GPU disabled and enabled. This is not good.

Hi Everyone, This feature has been available since August 2020 release (version 24.3). Please update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html Thank you for all the feedback.
You can now select multiple layers in Layers panel. Click the bars (they get highlighted blue) if you want to operate layers and not their content (e.g. to drag to reorder) or click their markers to select their content — circle (target ones) or square (selection ones) next to them. There is no real difference which to pick, but if you want to select a range of layers, using Shift, use target markers.

This is a wonderful addition! When trying it out just one counter intuitive thing happens. If you have a closed shape like a circle or rectangle and the user cuts it open at two anchor points the stroke switches to the opposite side.
It looks like an inner stroke despite being displayed as an outer stroke in the stroke panel. I know this can be solved by reversing the path but that is one step that should not be necessary in my opinion. Thanks for working on that feature!
