2. Generate a full calendar design with a text prompt from a custom template

   I think this will be the next level of GenAI
   The idea is to generate text using AI recognition from the customized template and add multiple artboards with Gen AI.

   For example:

   If we have a calendar design for January 2025 with editable text.
   We input the prompt like "generate remaining months of 2025"
   The GenAI feature should recognize the template, colors, and text within.
   The GenAI should make additional artboards with the remaining months and accurate data keeping the template and the colors consistent.

3. Put Apply to Selected button into Dimension Tool Options dialog

   At the moment we can edit existing selected dimensions using Control or Properties panel (except for Scale!)

   But if one chooses to open Dimension Tool Options dialog, all the settings won’t be applied to a selection, these would alter only dimensions created AFTER.

   I’d like to have another button here, to allow me to apply chosen settings to what I have selected already, or perhaps even to All, similar to the Properties-only quick action button (this and others there should also be available via Object > Dimension menu the team 'forgot' to add: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/49010378)

   And so you know — there ARE tool dialogs that work like this.
   Blend Options would change a selection (that’s why it should be a panel: http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31988758), Gradient tool too (and it IS only a panel, with no REAL tool options, which is another overkill)...

   Some consistency and common sense, please.

4. 文字プロパティの「さらに検索」の言語表示を改善

   文字プロパティの「さらに検索」で母国語以外の他言語が上位表示される仕様になっている。

   日本ユーザーの場合、韓国語が上位表示されており、利便性に欠けるとともに、ローカライズが出来ていない状態といえる。

5. Bleed option for multi-color object

   Currently if you expand an object with more than one color the paths will overlap where they meet. It would be beneficial if the expanded paths split the difference where they meet to better setup objects with bleed.

6. Rename updated Move locked and hidden artwork with artboard

   CC 2025 v29.0 introduces the long-awaited "Scale Artwork with Artboard" option.

   The checkbox in Preferences > Selection and Anchor Display > Move Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard now also affects whether locked or hidden objects are scaled with the artboard or not.

   I didn't realize this right away. When I tried to scale an artboard with a locked object, I got a warning and thought that the new feature just doesn't know how to scale such objects with an artboard. Only then did I realize that the existing option in the settings affects the function.

   Perhaps the naming of the option should be made clearer: Preferences > Selection and Anchor Display > Move or Scale Locked and Hidden Artwork with Artboard

7. Make Polygon tool dialog offer to set a shape by its Side Length

   ¡¡¡¿Por qué pregunta el radio de un octágono?!!! Tendría el programa que calcularlo. Si yo pongo cuántos lados quiero, en donde dice RADIO tendría que dar la opción de la medida de cada LADO, no del radio. Para ello yo tendría que estar haciendo cuentas matemáticas que me atrasan en mi trabajo.

8. Font stack (like CSS)

   As a user who frequently works with CJK texts, I often encounter challenges in managing fonts for multilingual documents. Currently, setting different fonts for mixed-texts is a cumbersome process.

   When I work with mixed texts, it is common to set CJK texts in one typeface and English text in another, as it is usually the case for many brands. To do so, I have to set the fonts of the text twice (first English, then find all characters whose font is unchanged and set them to the CJK font). Sometimes, if the chosen CJK font has missing characters (“tofu”), I will have to set them to another CJK font that has the characters. In some cases, I have several fonts lined up, from one closest in style to one with the most comprehensive glyph set. As a result, I find myself often having to go over each text object to make sure the right font is used at the right places.

   I propose a feature that allows users to define a prioritized list of fonts. When a character is missing in the first font, the next font on the list is automatically used, similar to the font-family mechanism in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).

9. A 'snapshot' feature, similar to After Effects

   I use After Effects 'Take snapshot' feature (Shift + F5) all the time. I always go to use it in Illustrator, but it's not here. It would be very handy for referencing changes or states.

11. Artboard instant activation by mouse hover

    Currently you to have select the artboard first by left click inside the area, inorder to apply certain operations.
    Can there be a toggle option to auto select or activate an artboard whenever mouse hover it? we don't need to click every time to make it active. It saves loads of clicks if you have a complex project with multiple artboards.

    あるドキュメントから、別のドキュメントにカット（コピー）アンドペーストしようとしても、一回目ではペーストできません。
    もう一回コピーしなおして、再度ペーストするとできます。
    このエラーを修正お願いします。

14. Predictive text and optional ai copy adapted to text box design sizes

    I would like to have predictive text, while I write it can complete the word like it happens in my phone.
    Also once you have my copy done, have a menu to have other copy options, translations and changes of copy adapted to cover more or less space in my design.

    Currently the behavior of the Color UI in Properties is broken:

    Please update with these shortcut key options:
    Shift + clicking the swatch drop down opens the Color Mixer options.

16. True customizable drawing 'angles' for all tools when using SHIFT key (for Pen, Pencil, Brush, Move)

    This is severely lacking in Illustrator and has been developed by Affinity Designer with workarounds (that do not work in a suitably fluid way) by Astute Graphics for Illustrator.

    Best case scenario something is implemented like Affinity Designer in which 'constraint angles' are replaced by ‘Grid and Snapping Axis’ you are able to set and save presets of angle settings.

    These axis are set and then can be activated as a constraint on your current tool by holding shift.

    Smart guides provides this in a VERY limited way right now, the UI is very rudimentary for a setting that is so important.

    These settings need to be centralized in one place, not hidden!

17. Allow to hold Shift to force Aligned (orthogonal) Dimensions

    Ai now tries to smartly detect a relative position of the cursor to a dimension being created and choose if it should be parallel or oblique.

    This sound like a smart solution, but in practice is SUCKS.

    Take a look at this small GIF.
    1. The dimension between two objects is live, and responds to the object being moved up and down fine
    2. But if I choose to move it to the right, it says 'hey, I am a dimension between two points, I’m switching to be slanted'
    3. OK, I delete it and try to create anew. STRUGGLING, because the space is tight, and if I move the mouse too much, it thinks I try to create a horizontal one. Finally I am able to catch the sweet (sour) spot, and caaaarefully move it back holding my breath.
    4. Now it’s an orthogonal (aligned) dimension and I can realign my object back or move without a risk of loosing the status.

    But we can’t covert 'manual' dimensions into 'aligned' one!
    We can’t hold Shift to FORCE it to be aligned!
    WTF?!

19. Allow us to choose a preferable file format on Export or keep the last chosen one

    Please create a hotkey for the "Export as" function. It would also be nice if I could set AI to always remember my preferred filetype instead of always defaulting to png.

    Latest Illustrator builds now remember the chosen file format in the Export As dialog and keeps it between sessions.

20. Can you build an illustrator that crashes every minute instead of every five minutes?

    Can you build an illustrator that does not crash every single day? How is this possible? Used to be able to run illustrator for weeks without a crash and now it crashes everyday. Your garbage products get worse by the minute. Useless!!!
