Paramétrage des traits de coupe
Avoir la possibilité de régler les traits de coupe sur 3 paramètres :
- La distance du plan de travail
- la longueur des traits de coupe
- la graisse des traits de coupe.
Aujourd'hui, ils occupent une taille de 2cm soit une augmentation de la largeur et de la longueur de 4cm. Pour de l'impression grand format sur adhésif, cela fin par faire une surface non négligeable.
Idem pour des impositions sur des documents A4 ou^l'on perd facilement une occurence en largeur et en hauteur.

Make Increase / decrease font size hotkeys to respect chosen Font Height Options
Font Height Options are amazing.
It’s almost a perfect feature to my taste... but when I hit Font Size Step Up / Down or Point Size Up / Down (Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + ./, and Alt/Opt + Shift + Ctrl/Cmd + ./,) — Illustrator adds the chosen Size/Leading value (from Preferences > Type) to the Em Box size anyway, and not the x-height or the Cap height I chose to work with.So, say, with chosen step 0.5 mm and x-height 15 mm I get 15.267 mm instead of 15.5 mm as the next size up, or 16.335 mm instead…

PDF import: Improve gradient parser compatibility
Currently, Illustrator apparently doesn't support all "types" of gradients present in a PDF. When trying to open the attached PDF, an error occurs and the gradient is rasterized.
However, it opens normally in other programs such as Scribus. I thought it was a limitation of the PDF producer (Inkscape), but maybe not. Please, see the discussion: https://gitlab.com/inkscape/inbox/-/issues/9185
Therefore, I ask Adobe to investigate the case and, if it is a limitation of Illustrator, to implement support for this "type" of gradient for better interoperability of the PDF parser.

Save Default Swatches from Swatches Palette
This is a struggle ever since. In the latest release, when creating an RGB document, I get tons of CMYK Swatches in the swatches palette. Why?
Please make it easy to save Default Swatches for each color mode, preferably from within the Swatches Palette.
Please don't suggest saving a Template, since that does not work due to privilege settings.

"Soft Messages" interface in SDK, as alternative to modal dialogs
Can the SDK get an interface for Soft Messages like the "Shape Expanded" message that quietly appears at the top of the screen, then fades away on its own? Sometimes modal dialogs or even floating windows are just way too intrusive to simply pass a message on to the user.
I have managed to pretty much replicate this in one of my own plugins using annotations, but it would be much simpler if a few lines of code could allow any developer and any plugin to call a behavior that already exists in Illustrator.

Replace Image With Symbol
I would like to select any number of images on my document and replace them with a symbol. I would like the symbol to be in the exact same location as the images were and be the exact same size (if the image is clipped by a clipping mask, I would like the symbol to be the size of the clipping mask). I would like the option for the symbol's proportions to be 1) retained and match the height of the images being replaced (in case the image proportions are different), 2) retained and match the width of the images…

Placing a multi-page PDF
It would be great if we were able to place a multipage PDF instead of each link clicking through the finder window to the same file and going through the PDF pages one at a time again and again to place them in a document.

Save for Web is disabled
Open both files attached in any Ai version from 26.4.1 to 27, and try to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy) for both.
The command will be disabled for the 'bad' and enabled for 'good', although the only rectangle in both is the same.
There is something wrong in the file structure then, but what?Also, the ExportOptionsPNG24 does nothing if a script with it gets run.

Give Pattern swatch an indicator icon in the Swatches panel
An often made mistake is that users drag a rectangle, filled with a color to the swatches panel, thinking that they added a new color swatch. In reality they created a pattern. Looking at the Swatches panel it is sometimes difficult to see the difference. In the attached example it is impossible to see which of the two green swatches is a color swatch or a pattern swatch. Improving Action tool for moving and copying objects\group of objects
As a fashion designer I make a lot of technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator daily.
Usually garments are symmetrical and to save my time and make my working process more convenient I learned how to move and reflect an object exactly to the centre of the other half in 6 steps. Display command assigned hotkeys in Discover panel’s search results
When you search for a command in Discover panel, Illustrator gives you the results, but never actually tries to educate a user further with teaching him assigned keyboard shortcuts.

Reset numbering of assets in Asset Export panel
Ability to reset the numbering of the Assets in the Export panel. Numbering is retained after several exports or adding/removing assests to the panel.

CSVの２行目からデータセット１，データセット２～と読み込まれますが、
行数が数百～数千行ある場合、例えば、「データセット100から200まで」など、
開始位置や行数、範囲を指定してバッチ処理することはできないでしょうか。現在は、CSVファイルを100行ずつ分割して複数作成し、都度、読込みなおすという作業をしていますが、

Created Intertwine zones are invisible both on canvas and in Layers and can’t be really edited and repositioned
When we try to edit an already created Intertwine object, we don’t edit it actually, it’s more like we create another one instead.
There is no way to fix a mistake rather than undo (if it’s an imminent one), or disassemble it completely (if it’s an old one), we can’t reposition zones, scale them, attach to the particular segment or point (like with the #ProjectMagenticType from 2022 MAX), we can't delete one or change the order of segments in an existing one.

Allow to group a single Intertwine object
A way to workaround the bug with the self-expanding Intertwines on effect application (https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447/suggestions/45845533) would be to group them and apply an effect to this 'protection container'...
But alas, Ai won’t allow that, and grouping an Intertwine object does nothing.
I suspect Illustrator treats it as a group, onle a 'magic' one, and normal group restrictions, such as 'Thou shalt not group a single group' are applied to it.Why then we can’t ungroup an Intertwine... anyway, this one should not be applied, even if you fix the self-expanding.

A rectangular marquee in Intertwine edit mode can’t be repositioned with Spacebar held
When I draw a rectangle, I can hold Space bar to reposition it to a place I want. This would make defining zones in Intertwine Edit mode so much easier, but no, this is not possible — yet, I hope.

Hold Space to reposition an artboard while creating it
When I create a rectangle, I can hold Space bar to reposition it to a place I want. For some reason this is not possible when I create new artboards, which are also rectangles in a way.

Lasso tool in Intertwine is not the actual Lasso tool and needs a separate cursor
This implies a user can use other tools to draw an intertwine zone, but switching tools just leads to ending the editing mode — which also does not get telegraphed well enough, https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/601447-illustrator-desktop-bugs/suggestions/45845602-make-intertwine-edit-mode-telegraphed-better.
While the action this pseudo-tool performs is more or less the same, the difference is murky. Either change the cursor or make the mode more clear.

A group can’t be turned into an Intertwine object
I suspect it’s because the team is going to improve Intertwines and make then operate on groups as elements, instead of single paths, but this does not mean a single selected group should be affected and block us from converting it to an intertwined art.
Live Paint allows to convert a group, no problem with that.

import DXF Blocks
In fashion Industry, one of the most common exchange file format is DXF-AAMA/ASTM.
If it is too complex to Illustrator to handle all the subtilities of this format, could it be possible at least to manage "Blocks" ?
Blocks are DXF entities which can be assimilate as "Groups" or "Symbols"
but in Ai Groups and Symbols may stay on a single layer.
In DXF Blocks, you may have multiple entities on multiple layers, but you need to keep them as a single object.
