  2. Problemas con uso de mallas.

    Al tener una forma creada con la herramienta Creador de formas o buscatrazos, y luego intentar utilizar una malla no funciona,
    O al intentar usar las herramienta "creador de formas" o "buscatrazo" en una forma que tiene una malla de degradado, tampoco funciona.

  3. tangential transition in circles and curves

  4. Option to disable auto-save for cloud documents

    クラウドドキュメントは使いたいが、ファイル編集時に自動保存したくないです。
    バージョン履歴はありますが30日しか保存できず、それ以前の
    ものは1世代であっても遡れず非常に不便です。どのタイミングで

  5. Fix Heavy Shaded PDF Import Error

    Illustrator is reporting an issue while importing heavy shaded PDF files from CAD Software ArchiCAD. Error Message in Attached File. The PDF which triggers the error is also attached.

  6. Numbered List - Choose at which number we wish to start the list.

    Hi, It would be great if we could rearrange the order of lists for Numbered List options.

    You choose which "Levels" the numbering is but what if under that you would have the option to select at which number to start, 2...3...4 or whatever number we wish to insert.

  7. Make my palettes static

    My palettes are always moving. No matter how much i adjust the size the whole group goes up. and down. Why cant they just stay in the same place? right now my swatches/brushes/symbols palette takes up the whole right side. even though i only have the very basic number of swatches. meanwhile the others are all pushed to the bottom and i have to search for each palette.

    Basically I dont want to search for the palette i need. I want it to be on the side where i left it. instead of resizing. I'd rather scroll inside a palettes…

  8. Use Typographer's Quotes should be more accessible

    "Use Typographer's Quotes" should be added to the Character palette to make it more easily accessible. Sometimes I'm designing a document that uses typographer's quotes, but most of the time I work with documents that reference dimensions in feet and inches, so I need to be able to switch back and forth between typographer's quotes and straight quotes quickly.

    In addition to that, "Use Typographer's Quotes" should be moved from File > Document Setup to Illustrator > Settings > Type to match the way Photoshop and InDesign do it.

  9. Allow to see and edit colors in a selection, just like with Selection Colors in Figma

    Figma displays a full list of colors used in a selected art in its right sidebar: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/articles/360042553434-View-and-adjust-colors-in-a-mixed-selection
    It allows quickly evaluate the selection, edit colors right there, even swap — without the need of using bulky Recolor. Illustrator can't offer the same quick tool, neither in Color panel nor with the Properties.
    Please make this possible in Ai, and make it better.

  10. Offline Patch download (msp file)

    I hate calling this a "new idea". We have offline systems running the "FRL" versions of Acrobat Std and Illustrator. There is a patch site (though hard to find) to download the offline msp updater for acrobat. I was just instructed via support chat that an offline patch doesn't exist for illustrator, and that I have to go back into my admin console and generate a new package installer to bring on. That's a lot of extra work for something as simple as patching.

  11. Make the Info panel more usefull

    The info panel is too concise in my opinion.
    E.g: when a place image is selected, it should show its pixel size, scale, rotation, color mode etc.

  12. Add performance scripting options

    Currently the options to increase scripting performance are limited. Please add ...
    - the ability to process documents without openingen them visually. The documents should remain hidden during processing
    - an option to disable screen redraw
    - an option to minimize the application window

    Why isn't there a functional and useful user manual or user guide available online?

    The lack of issuing any type of user guide is a huge missed opportunity. It seems this task has been Offloaded to the Adobe community. Adobe used to consider its customers/clients ones who deserved professional, well-organized, easy-to-use, comprehensive instructions and guides. Whatever happened to supporting those who put/keep you in business? I guess in the software business that's progress ...?

  14. Highlight selected segments

    Ai fails at displaying selected segments.
    Here, in the GIF, both selections look identical — until I move the partially selected art. Only then I notice that the diagonal segment was selected in the left shape.

    This is a core and tough problem to solve, but it does not mean it’s OK to have it, because it leads to many errors often enough.

  15. Make Recent Color section as in Photoshop

    It would be nice to have a thing similar to Photoshop strip of recently used colors, with an ability to quickly convert one or several into proper swatches.
    Probably a function that just add all used color into swatches automatically can be useful also, with a clear signaling it is active, to prevent accidental swatches bloating.

  16. Allow apple’s “accent menu” to be used inside Adobe apps, instead of repeating the character endlessly.

    Currently if you press and hold a physical keyboard button, it just repeats the character like this sssssssssss.
    If the macOS feature “accent menu” works in future versions of Adobe apps. Typing in other languages that use accents like Italian (for example è and ì) would be easier. Instead of typing on another word processor then pasting into Adobe app. You can type è é ê ë ē easily on an English keyboard.

  17. I am wondering if anyone can help me as my gradient tool is not working. When I click it it switches between the mouse and gradient icon.

    I am wondering if anyone can help me as my gradient tool is not working. I can click it from the toolbar or press the G key on my keypad, but when I try to use it doesn't work. The gradient icon just switches between that and the mouse icon when I press it.

  18. Hitting Alt+Down does not open dropdown lists

    I expect Alt+Down to drop down focused lists with options inside, like Font Family / Style, Stroke Weight, etc.

    Sure, I understand it might conflict with duplicating, but in fact no, since Ai does not duplicate when a field is focused anyway. At the same time, it’s a common and expected behaviour in other applications.

  20. Place embedded pdf Link with Option to Convert all text as outlines

    When opening a pdf in illustrator, if the pdf contains fonts that are not installed on the system. it will ask to find the font. and substitute a system default. the vector data for that font is in the pdf. if you take the same pdf, place it as a link, then flatten transparency, you can select "Convert all text to outlines", I would like the option to select "Convert all text to outlines" when embedding a placed PDF, so all fonts will be outlines and show properly even if font is not shown. it would use pdf font data…

    • Ability to convert the outlined/expanded text back to live text.
    • Ability to lock objects to a character/glyph of a live text, allowing users to change the text (properties) while the object stays locked into the character.
