"Align Artboards to nearest pixel" or "Rearrange selected artboards" to avoid extra pixel on export.
Similar to "Rearrange All artboards" except I don't want them rearranged, I just want them to snap to the nearest whole pixel to avoid the extra pixel when exporting raster assets.
OR
"Rearrange selected artboards only"
I frequently set up documents with with dozens of artboards of various sizes organized and positionally grouped in specific ways. Currently I need to manually set x and y pixel coordinates for each artboard because "rearrange all" destroys the iterative structure of my document.

An ability to update variables
I'd like to be able to bind Variables to pageItems and be able to reimport the Variable Library; that is, I'd like to be able to reimport the CSV or XML file and not have to rebind the Variable to pageItems.
This would let me create a template or master file that is ready to import new data without having to rebind the Variables.
Also, make Variable binding scriptable.

Recolor Artwork: Use Eyedropper to pick colors from Artwork
It would be nice if we could pick colors from artwork to to the Recolor Artwork with Eyedropper. Now if I want to match a color to an some existing color in canvas, I have to close the Recolor Artwork window, use the Eyedropper and then restart Recolor Artwork.
It would be great if we could just pick color from canvas while keeping Recolor Artwork open.

Recolor Artwork: Make the color wheel bigger !
It would be good if the size of Colorwheel in Recolor Artwork could be resized, made bigger.
Now if the colors are close to each other, it is impossible to select them in basic mode.
Also, adjusting colors isn't very accurate as the wheel is so small. Sure you can open the color setting by double clicking, but it would be so much easier to just have bigger color wheel.

アプリケーションフレームをOFFにした状態でドキュメントの新規作成をすると、ドキュメントウィンドウが全画面で配置され、左右のツールパネルの下に潜り込んで表示されます。
毎回ドキュメント全体を表示させるのに、ドキュメントウィンドウをドラッグしてサイズを小さくし、パネルとの重なりをなくすひと手間が入ります。
※ツールパネルはフロート状態ではなく固定しています。Photoshopのように（またはイラレでアプリケーションフレームを使用した時と同じように）ツールバーやパネルに重ならないようにドキュメントウィンドウを表示する仕様にはならないでしょうか。

Shortcut "Make New Artboard"
I need a shortcut to make a new artboard.
same syntax as a new layer with Ctrl + L but for artboardsThere is no way to assign any kind of shortcut to this SO basic command, nor via action, shortcut editor, or script. And I'm aware of Shift + O

Allow eyedropper to ignore locked layers.
Allowing the eyedropper to optionally ignore the contents of locked layers would be very useful. Having a locked layer with transparency above an active layer and trying to sample a line weight, only to sample the fill or other attributes of a transparent object that you're working "through" is very frustrating.

Toggle Radii in Ellipse Properties
When editing Ellipse Properties in the transform palette, it's be great to be able to turn off the radiuses in the ellipse, enabling a live shape which is an arc. At the moment you are limited to filled/joined sections.

Retain layer blend modes from Photoshop when placing in Illustrator.
Please, allow the layer blend modes from Photoshop files to be retained when placing them in Illustrator. It's done within Corel, it should be native to Adobe products.

Artboard Mod
IDK anything, just learning tried multiple products so far AI is the only one I have accomplished anything in. My current issue may just be just be user error due to the lack of knowledge and experience. So I am designing new dash panels for an antique kenworth truck. The panels are flat with lots of round holes I have the old panels and have been taking measurements from them but I have experienced 2 problems #1 is that AI measures from the edge of the art board. #2 I cant seem use the edge of the art board as…

Can we please have layers control of some level in Touch workspace?
Not having any control over layers in touch mode make it almost impossible to use. Touch workspace already have a nice interface but having to go back and forth from one workspace to another just to change layer makin life hard.

Jointures Multiples/Multiple Joins

Ce qui motive ma demande est que je récupère des fichiers générés par des sites web où chaque segment est isolé. Selection and zoom marquees should be able to be displayed orthogonally when a view is rotated
When dragging out a selection marquee on a rotated canvas with either of the Selection tools, the marquee is drawn aligned to the canvas instead of the screen.
The actual selection seems to be done in screen space - see the two attached screenshots, where my marquee was dragged from the lower left point of the marquee to the upper right, resulting in a displayed marquee that would select the sketch of hair above the eye, and an actual selection that only contains parts of the paths in the eye.

Select Same / Position on artboard
An option that can be added on the Select Same menu that could be useful for selecting elements that hold the same position on each artboard. Could be useful for page numbers, titles, logos, watermarks etc.

Scissors tool should be aware of stroke width profiles and brush tool data.
At present, if you use the Scissors tool on a path with a width profile, the resulting paths will both inherit the entire width profile. This always feels wrong; I would much prefer that the resulting paths had new width profiles that match the original look of the path.

Blend annotator
It would be good if the blend tool worked like the gradient annotator where you can weight the blend along the linear axis using sliders to quickly adjust the spacing of the blended objects.

File Save Options - Recovery data location
I'm running the latest version of Illustrator (26.2.1 as I'm writing this) but my data recovery preferences are somehow stuck at the location for Illustrator 20 and the application warns me every time that it can't save recovery data for the current document. I can change this, I know, but that still just keeps it then stuck at the location for version 26, and will presumably break again when version 27 is released.
What I need is some way to restore the default behaviour which would (presumably) automatically update to the correct relative location for the current application version.2 votes
