  1. Ask to update links... for current document

    I remember now why I turned off ask user to update links... because it comes up for documents that are open but not being worked on. Can you fix it so it only asks when you go to that document?

    Here's an example: I'm working on multiple concepts that are placed as links into a presentation document. Each concept, and the presentation doc are open.   2. Support Layered TIFF Files

    Why cant I open a layered TIFF File in illustrator without first converting and loosing content in the process to a PSD they are very similar with a TIFF file actually being a preferable option for a lot of work for a lot of years it is disappointing you need 3 different versions of an ADOBE product to produce one piece of work? Does anyone have a work around for this I have read conflicting reports with nothing I have tried currently working!! HELP

  3. Give Pattern swatch an indicator icon in the Swatches panel

    An often made mistake is that users drag a rectangle, filled with a color to the swatches panel, thinking that they added a new color swatch. In reality they created a pattern. Looking at the Swatches panel it is sometimes difficult to see the difference. In the attached example it is impossible to see which of the two green swatches is a color swatch or a pattern swatch.   4. Improving Action tool for moving and copying objects\group of objects

    As a fashion designer I make a lot of technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator daily.

    Usually garments are symmetrical and to save my time and make my working process more convenient I learned how to move and reflect an object exactly to the centre of the other half in 6 steps. But it is a lot of steps, so when I tried to record an action with all steps it didn't work correctly with other objects.

  5. Copy images from the web and paste them directly in Illustrator

    Please, guys, let us copy images from the web or our OS and paste them directly into Illustrator as Figma does.

    In general...can you look at everything that Figma does when it comes to UX and take inspiration from there? I think there's a lot of room for improvement when it comes to UX in Adobe products :D

  6. Extend student discount to the length of their education. Anything less will send young creatives to competing software

    I love Adobe but as a student I can’t afford full price software prior to getting a job. Id love to enter the job market with a proficient and high level understanding of your creative suite. This lack of keeping student engaged with Adobe will push these young creatives to other software platforms. You loss next to nothing keeping students engages with Adobe product throughout their education and could gain life time users

  7. Option to permanently add a brush to every opened document

    I often use very specific custom made brush in an Operation. Adding panel with library containing this brush does not help - I have to click on it in every document before starting the operation. Option to permanently add a brush to every opened document would be splendid. Or at least to incorporate that into Operation. (no, using paste in operation doesn't work)

  8. Option to turn off the warning about deleting a layer containing artwork

    How do I turn off the warning about deleting a layer containing artwork? There's no "don't show again" option in the pop-up. :(
    In my line of work I delete layers with artwork constantly and it does take time to click the warning dozens if not hundred times a day. I use Illustrator 27.1.1.

  9. Package/collect multiple illustrator files at once for sending to printers like "Art Files 3" does.

    We currently use Art Files 3 to package multiple ai files at once without having to individually open the illustrator files. With the new Illustrator 2023, Art Files 3 is no longer compatible and they also seem to be out of business. We send anywhere from 3-20 files at once on a regular basis. Working with multiple artboards in one file is not an option. We need to find a subsitute app or a solution that can package miltiple files, fonts and images (both embedded and linked) all at once like Art Files.. We can't use the AI package feature…

    I am looking for a 3rd party software that can analyze a sketch drawn in AI for product cost. Are there developers out there that have created something to analyze for cost?

  13. Selecting colors in my color library isn't working, even if object is selected

    Suddenly, I'm unable to change the fill or stroke color of my selected object via my color library like I always do. I attached a video showing my attempts. I have no idea what happened, because it was working just fine a few hours ago.

  14. notification when links won't update because of locked layers

    It would be great if I could get a notification when links don't update because they're on a locked layer. I keep clicking on the update button in the links palette and I think something's wrong, when it's operator error.

  15. Create a shortcut to toggle between 2 different tools (e.g. brush & ink)

    Would be nice to have a keyboard shortcut to toggle between 2 tools (e.g. brush and ink) I'm working on an illustration and would be so much faster if I could have just one key to toggle between both tools. This is possible in Photoshop. I don't understand why isn't possible in Adobe Illustrator :(

  17. Export GPU Quality Images

    Because of the difference between CPU and GPU preview, what you see is not what you get on export. Lines are weaker, and lack texture. I would like a feature similarly to overprint feature, to export GPU quality images.
