  1. Mirrored Live Sketch

    Like Procreate Symmetry tool so you can draw on a vertical half and have the mirrored side reflected as you draw. Essential for technical product design/apparel design sketches, where we usually draw in halves, then duplicate and mirror. Would expedite process and allow for changes that may be desirable, as one previews full proportions.

  2. Illustrator 2021 is constantly crashing, resulting in my not being able to use it.

    stop it from crashing. Whatever you did with the 2021 version, reverse it. It's worse than useless. I cannot get any production.

  3. export large artboards to PNG using high (300 dpi) resolution

    Currently, files with large artboards (larger than 6535 px x 4730 px) can not be exported as a PNG with high resolution. The best is a medium resolution. My current project series requires a specific large artboard size (9075 px wide x 6201 px high exactly) and I would like to be able to export and then print them in high resolution to give my customers the best possible printed product. Illustrator does not currently support this, unfortunately.

  4. Please add support for AMD Radeon Pro 5700

    I have a new iMac 27" 2020 and just learned, to my disappointment, that my graphics card is not supported. I have an AMD Radeon Pro 5700, I think the standard for the new iMac is a Radeon Pro 5500 XT (which is also not supported).
    This causes Illustrator to crash at least once or twice a day with a GPU Error report and it then automatically deactivates GPU Performance, which makes Illustrator super slow and laggy.
    I know the iMac 2020 is very new, but since more people will be getting it over time it seems reasonable to support…

  5. Please update your troubleshooting/fix instruction for the bg "The operation cannot complete because of an unknown error. [CANT]".

    Effect - > 3D -> Extrude & Bevel...

    Following all the Adobe Support site instructions, the bug could not be solved. Even after uninstalled Illustrator and re-installed it, the issue persist.

    Environment:

    *MacOS Bug Sur: 2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 & 16 GB(Memory) 3733 MHz LPDDR4X

    *Creative Cloud - Illustrator 2021

    Applied all the troubleshooting documented in:

    Has anyone tried Moho by Smithmicro? Pretty fast vector animation tool. It has a drawing adjustment tool called Magnet. Here's how it's described in the manual: "The Magnet tool is similar to the Transform Points tool - it is used to move points around.   8. Illustrator 2021 Won't Open

    Every time I try to open AI/2021 the icon just bounced and the App Panel just hangs and nothing happens. I'm using a 2017 version of the 2013 desktop, with plenty of RAM, all my other apps work except this - any tips boffins?

  11. All creative cloud document preview when applications are not running

    Sorry for my Tarzan's english. On Mac Big Sur I'm suffering a lot because it's impossible to see documents preview with space bar when a file is selected. I need this feature with Illustrator and InDesign! Thank you. BTW: Art View doesn't works anymore.

  16. All Adobe apps - New Document Page (UI)

    Although Adobe aims to keep their user interface simple and efficient, the current <New Document Page> lacks of readability for its users. It's too dark and this makes it harder to read what symbols stand for. I think Adobe should;

    1) Use larger icons on this interface.
    2) Make the icons relatable for the name of the products (iPhone, etc.)
    3) Add color(s) on this design.

  17. Inking mode

    Provide ability to “ink” a line drawing. Provide a means to color fill bounded areas - similar to the way color fill is handled in Procreate as an example. After using the pen tool to define the lines of an illustration - like for example a cartoon character - it would be very helpful to be able to colorize the line drawing by dragging color in to bounded (leak proof) areas created by these overlapping lines.

  18. Scale Multiple Objects Separately

    I wish there was a way to simultaneously scale a set of objects. Say I have 20 shapes that are all different sizes, but I want them to all be 200pxH x _W. It would be nice to be able to select them all and choose the point to scale from, as usual, but then have them all scale to the size given - so some might shrink, some might enlarge, etc. depending on their previous sizes. And it would be nice to turn on or off the skew/constrain proportions. Seems kinda surprising that this functionality isn't in Ai. If…

  19. Drag and drop objects by specific point of choice.

    The Smart Guide function is very helpful and helps with the accuracy and precision we need to handle objects. However, would it be possible for us to have an even more accurate tool? A way to drag and drop using a chosen point within a path to move? This way we wouldn't be bond only by the objects borders.

    This is exactly what Illustrator does when we hold Cmd/Ctrl while dragging. In this case it prioritizes the position of the cursor, and makes it snap exactly by the point grabbed to the point hovered on. Please, try it and leave the comment if it solves it for you (or not).

  20. Print Nesting

    Illustrator needs the ability to perform efficient object nesting. This would greatly help in making files for printing and cutting as well as saving loads of time. Please add nesting to Illustrator!
