  1. Advanced Blend Colors Horizontally / Vertically

    • make it work with compound paths
    • give the user a choice to blend HSB (Blending R and B should give G) e.g. creating a rainbow should be possible with blending colors, but it isn't in the current version.

  2. Remember Kai’s Powertools?

    Is there a way you can match what that program used to do? It had a way better vector effects ability to extrude and shatter, etc vector shapes and letters. It worked way better than the 3D function Illustrator has.

  4. A program to make bag pattern, , leather items for us vitiate people that are not that great on computers.

    A program for us vitiate people that allows us to create leather bag, or other items. With capability to print on EU, 8.5x10 , plotter for larger designs. I know some people are able to use AI for this , however some of use are computer challenge, something made simple would be nice.

  5. Select "Replace" by default once a clipped linked element is selected

    This is a very simple fix for something extremely frustrating: once a clipped linked image is selected (using the direct selection tool), the importing option should be to Replace the element by default (instead of having to manually select it EVERY SINGLE TIME). If nothing is selected, the logical default behavior then would have the Replace option unchecked.

  6. Min Stroke width when adding a profile

    I have wanted this to be a feature for over a year now.

    As many of us know, we can simply add a profile shape to strokes. We can also create our own profiles! The process of creating profiles is not very user friendly in my opinion.

    I think it would be a great idea to be able to state which profile you want for your stroke, and then an addition option comes up that gives you 1 extra boxes:

    Minimum stroke weight for the stroke profile

    Obviously the "max" stroke weight is changed in the "Weight" section already.

  7. Allineamento ad oggetto bloccati

    Buonasera,
    migliorare la potenzialità di illustrator per quanto riguarda allineare oggetti su oggetti bloccati sarebbe fantastico e performante.
    Nell'ambito del mio lavoro usiamo fustelle predefinite.
    l'idea sarebbe poter selezionare l'oggetto bloccato sulla tavola disegno o livello template e agganciate/allineare all'oggetto un altro oggetto.
    Questo permetterebbe un allineamento veloce e sicuro.
    Provo a spiegarlo con l'esempio.

    L'ideale sarebbe inserire nel pannello "allinea oggetti"
    lo strumento allinea a centro

    Questo permetterebbe la possibilità con un solo click l'allineamento all'oggetto bloccato

    spero di essermi spiegato.

  8. Allow docked tool panels to stack one under another

    For now a docked tool panel takes the whole column, not matter how short it is. It forces us to clump all custom tools in one panel. Normal panels can stack any way possible.
    Please, give us the possibility to dock tool panels in rows too.

  10. Use Precision Cursors

    I just got a screen tablet. The "Use Precision" cursor is too big. The X gets in my way in the same manner as the brush cursor.

    I'd like to see several options aside from just an X. A fine reticle, a simple dot or circle, etc. Additionally, pls incorporate a sizing option for each fine precision icon.

  11. Little display problem with GPU enabled

    Hi, I bought an Imac 27" with 5K Retina display.

    I noticed that when I zoom some vector shape, the lines are not too clean. They seem like bitmapped. When I click Command+Y (show outlines) and I click it again, the lines appear clean. I uploaded a little video about my problem.

    I wrote in Adobe community, they suggested me to turn off GPU Performance. If i do that the images appears fine but Illustrator become too slow.

    So they recommended me to report my issue here.

  13. SVG exporting of path points

    Illustrator SVG asset exporter doesn't export single-point paths.
    My work system reads SVG files' layer and object names as IDs. In these files, I create a single point with the pen tool to use the x,y values as coordinate data. (This object is graphically a Path with a single anchor point.) I'll also create paths with 2 or more points in these files. When I export these objects using the asset exporter, the paths with a single point doesn't get exported, while paths with 2 or more points export successfully.   14. Add 16px and 20px to the font-size drop down

    With base rem being 16px, 16px has become the standard for readable text on a website. It would be good UX to have more base 4 standard font-sizes in the font-size select drop down.

    7px, 9px, 11px and 21px are essentially useless to me but they have a seat in the dropdown, you could easily replace/swap a couple of them out for 16px and 20px. I don't know many designers, printers, or developers that use odd pixel sized fonts.

  15. An ability to size and line space text based on a capital curved letter "C", "O" or "S"

    I create a lot of graphics for signage using Illustrator and most depend on actual sizing and spacing of the text. If I put 12" letters and convert to outlines the text is is really 25% smaller. So I either have to outline the text and lose editability or I have to eyeball a clipping mask to the curve letter and resize the clipping mask to the correct size.

    I am giving up-You have so much data on my mac-on my iPad pro-files that I have no clue who put them on Lenovo, from yous! Its been about 15 years ,Ive tried-I am 60! I cant Take it-you have no help for people like me=I have learning Disability,I look at your software =I see almost nothing possible to do?
    I can use sketch book-procreate, but Adobe its just foregin ,you offer no means for me to understand and its very sad- I need to make clean crisp lines- I need control+ in Procreate it all looks good then BANG…

  18. Ability to temporarily flip canvas horizontally (mirror view) for design checking

    For illustrative purposes, it would be really handy to be able to temporarily flip the canvas horizontally as if in a mirrored reflection.

    You would instantly see slight imperfections in a design in this new angle that was not previously noticeable due to one's specific viewpoint.

    A lot of graphic programs do this to allow scrutiny from an alternate angle. InDesign and Photoshop do this already of course.

  20. Name Change Improvement

    Dear Adobe, upon using the software for some years now I have got the impression of the software being related to illness, us being ill and traitor (although spelt a bit differently). So it's like 'ill' 'us' 'trator'.

    I know it might sound quite out there but there could be some reasoning to it. I for one have experienced some illness since using it (not to say the program is at fault) and an impression gets made and then I'm more cautious to use the program.
