  1. Rotation of Subset of Shape Anchor Points via Direct Select

    Once you select multiple anchors on a path (but not all of them) you should be able to rotate only those anchors. Currently it's possible to move the anchors but not rotate them.
    Ex: You have a path creating a shape of a full body silhouette of a person with the face in profile. The face is looking straight left. You want to adjust the face to be looking more upward.   2. Bigger variety of basic finishes for 3D materials: high gloss, matte, shiny metallic, matte, etc.

    Would be great to have better material adjustment tools — the 'metallic' slider doesn't really do very much except make the colour dull, would love to make it super vibrant metallic finish. A lot of the materials in Substance don't allow colour editing or more than one colour so this makes it really limited. Would love to achieve a bigger variety of basic finishes e.g. high gloss, matte, shiny metallic or matte.

    Would also love to have more extrusion options, it's crazy that you can make a cylinder but no possible way to make cuts through. I don't want to…

  4. Disable geometry size limit for corner widgets

    It seems like there is a hard limit on the object size for corner widgets.
    Take a look at the GIF:
    when my shape is 1.42 px tall — I can see the widgets,
    but if I make it 1.41 px — widgets vanish... and it doesn’t matter if I zoom in, they won’t appear!
    It makes it very inconvenient when designing pixel art, icons, small things... This should be screen-based, not geometry-capped!

  5. Auto-Eyedropper when hovering over Swatches Info objects

    Please make possible to make the current tool automatically change to Eyedropper when you hover over the coloured squares in Swatches Info objects. Essentially this makes them function just like a swatch in the toolbar.

    I usually lock the Swatch Info Layer immediately so the swatches don't get included when dragging to select multiple objects. It might be useful to tie the automatic eyedropper tool change to the lock status of the layer, so you still get the expected behaviour when the layer is unlocked, but when it's locked you get the eyedropper when you hover over the swatches.

  6. Illustrator (Beta) for the Web Unsupported on Android / Leaving Beta When?

    Since the beginning of the beta being open, I am unable to use Illustrator for the Web on my android tablet... I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra and I am up to date with the latest updates on the OS, Google Chrome and all security patches, etc. I even tried chrome canary, MS Edge (canary), and I get the same error screen.

    Why is this?

    Is it ever coming out of beta?

  7. Creative edition "Motives"

    I would like to propose the integration of the following functions to the creation of "Motifs" with the aim of optimizing and enriching the pattern creation tools so they can better adapt to more organic shapes, specifically it would be to add functions such as: "Create envelope / deformation options" and the functions of the "Transformation" panel to the "Motif Options"

  10. Path tracing should chunk down large images

    When vectorising an image that is large and intricate. The illustrator path tracing algorithm should split the image into smaller squares then stitch them back together for the final output.

  14. Make the font selection panel less intrusive by making it editable and moveable

    The font selection panel currently takes up a large portion of the center screen, making it difficult to see the font changes on a large scale. It would be nice if the panel could be editable and moveable, like other panels on Illustrator. Also, it could be positioned on the right side of the screen by default and made slightly transparent, to see through.

  17. Align to guides

    Select multiple objects, click a guide then a small align box opens, select vertical align for example and it aligns all the objects to that guide line. Also the horizontal/vertical distribute centre doesn't work with logos, even shapes it does but if you select 4 random vector logos it doesn't space them evenly
