  1. stop Live corners assumptions

    When drawing with the curvature, I haven't tested with regular pen, if you draw a mix of corners and somewhat curved surfaces, then you go back to add some nice radiused corners, you will likely be annoyed by illustrator Thinking that you intended to draw a giant chamfer.

    This should not be happening. Seems like a bug. The corner should not become a chamfer unless you do an Option-click on the live corner widget. Could you please share more details on when this happens?

  2. Unable to Make sunbeams in Illustrator.

    In Pixelmator for Mac, in generators, I can create a sun beam. I need this for a project I am working on for a client for there business logo but do to its design I can make it into vector. so I need to be able to create it from scratch in illustrator but it lacks the ability to, see recording attached or link. I need "exactly" what you see as vector no lame alternatives, unless you can do better.

  3. Kuler Missing in CS6

    I'm still using Illustrator CS6. Last week I was able to use Kuler but, this week, I'm not. I still see it as a menu item/selection but, when selected, nothing happens. Can I load Color Themes into CS6? Or are us CS6 holdouts being pushed closer to involuntary compliance?

  4. Non-Latin Support for Numbers in UI

    I use Bengali extensively in CC, and it's frustrating that the interface doesn't understand Bengali numerals as their latin equivalents - for example if I type ৩৩ in the font size, it doesn't understand it as 33. However, I noticed that in the latest version of InDesign (13.0 x64) it does recognize & convert Bengali numerals - for example when I type ৩৩ in the font size box it converts it to 33pt. However, this still doesn't work in the current version of Illustrator (22.0.1 x64), and it would make sense to have this feature throughout the major CC products.

  5. File synchronization fails for ai files saved with CC 2018

    I sync my files across several computers using Unison (an rsync command line tool). Since updating, .ai files will not synchronize. I am running macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and CC 2018 v 22.0.0 on the computers that I am syncing.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. make ai file. A4 RGB layout with one text item. Save.
    2. run Unison.
    3. synchronization fails with message that the ai file does not exist on the other computer because it could not be renamed from the tmp version of the ai file that unison pulls from the other computer.

  7. 1x folder

    Right now, even when I'm not exporting any of my artboards as retina, Illustrator INSISTS upon exporting all PNG files inside a new folder called "1x." This is annoying, stupid, and unhelpful. It makes it hard to find when I go looking for the exports, I'm looking for descriptively named .png files, not a completely innocuous folder named "1x" for no reason.

    Please stop ******* with exports. Just make it work like it did last version. This is not an improvement.

  8. New crop feature

    Would much prefer this feature to be similar to InDesign. Don't see me likely to use as is since it throws away unused data and embeds. Ability to NOT crop like that is one of the most useful features in InDesign. Masking although clumsy as a crop tool seems it will remain more flexible and useful.

  9. dropbox syncing

    When I open/save through the native Illustrator dialogue boxes, files that I have in my dropbox folders begin to download for no reason. I use SmartSync to keep my HD space optimized and this little glitch makes that impossible.

  10. Accessing Legacy Typefaces (non Variable Concept ones)

    The new version of Minion and Myriad are EXCELLENT, and I am very excited by the possibilities that this opens up. But I work in Art production, and for consistency, I need access to the legacy version of these typefaces. May we have access to both?

  11. Remove units from input boxes

    When editing a value in an input box, e.g. the width of an artboard, the unit (px) is still included in the box. This makes it harder to hit the right spot in the text with your mouse, and makes it more prone to error. It's especially annoying when performing arithmetic!

    Trying to avoid this situation: "306 p+34x"

  12. New version change over

    New versions, NOT new name. Drop the year add-on. Just ask to overwrite existing app version. I use overflow to start up my apps, not the Adobe menu. By adding a new app name AND deleting the old one you BREAK ALL my links to ***** up my workflow.

    Also, import to the new version ALL MY TEMPLATES. You created significant work for me to go an find the old templates and then get them into 2018

    Most importantly: Send some of your engineers out to see people use your products in the real world that is NOT web design…

  13. Search window in all Adobe programs

    Add a window where I can search a feature, window, or command that exists in the program.
    It's hard to remember where everything is located.

  14. Display colour swatches

    Marquee across a portion of the artboard and then hit a hot key, which brings a pop up display of all of the swatches within the area you have marquee. From that pop up display you can select single or multiple colours. For instance if you have vectorised something and you find within the area you have marquee that there is multiple blues, you can select all of those blues in the pop up and then change them all to 1 colour from your swatches menu - a really quick way to reduce down the colours that you don't need

  15. pencil tool selection behaviour adjusmtent

    A detail that im missing from the legacy pencil tool.

    Its a missing detail in the option keep to path selected or deselected after being drawn.

    When this option is unchecked the object is deselected.
    If the path is selected again to be drawn upon to adjust the shape. It deselects it again.
    Now thats all logical and according to what the option says its supposed to do.

    BUT

    The legacy pencil tool before its rewrite it worked almost like that but not quite the same, and it was great.

    So you had the option to have the path deseletced after…

  16. In the new properties, have the overflow menu at the top opposite the panel name.

    Feels odd seeing the overflow menu at the bottom, where it almost looks like it's part of the panel above it. Also, by placing it at the top of each panel, this could have space.

  17. I would like to pick a colour from the fill for the stroke

    I would like to pick a colour from the fill for the stroke.

    So if I choose fill to be the main I would like to change it regardless if I am picking from the fill or the stroke.

  18. Can you fix this?

    Hi,

    I have this problem, I don't know whether this is a bug, but I really need you to fix this or is there any solution for this.

    Some how there's ripped effect on my artworks but when publish it looks fine, only during editing.

  19. When in pixel perfect mode (making PNG's), it would be nice if print reflected this.

  20. Please make the slicing more like Fireworks with naming and sizes individual for each artboad (like stages/pages in Fireworks).

    Currently I can not export bitmap icons with the the right names and in the right sizes as in Fireworks including padding.
    And when I go to another document for a different platform (an app), I have to include the different sizes again.
    Also I have no preview like in legacy before I overwrite the old picts.
    Making graphics for mobile devices, your presets are based on the lowest resolution (@1). Some user control please...
    Bring back Fireworks...
