  1. I have ideas to improve the tools in Adobe Illustrator or to create an independent application to write arabic calligraphy

    I was looking to contact Adobe team, i am an artist and calligrapher and graphic designer for more than 30 years.

    I have ideas to improve the tools in Adobe Illustrator or to create an independent application to write arabic calligraphy to make a wonderfull peices of art using arabic calligraphic letters.

    Also i have a library for more than 100 vector of this type of art which done by Adobe Illustrator, i held an exhibition in Amman-Jordan.

    I hope to show this art (calligraphics) through Adobe, this type of art collabroation of hand drawn and brushes in Adobe Illustrator.

  2. Change Art Brush Angle

    Currently when using an art brush you can only change the direction the brush going in 4 directions. I wish I could make the brush go in any direction or angle I wanted. You can do this on the procreate app on iPad so I am surprised that it cannot be done in Adobe Illustrator.

  4. resize does not respect the homothety #2

    I already had a big problem with this 2019 version of illustrator and the ungrateful homothety (see BUG "resize does not respect the homothety") but I discovered that the application is really worse than I thought.
    Look even worse when there is a blur effect on a shape. The application does anything, the numbers are completely crazy !!!! Impossible to work. Impossible with a PRO application !!!

  5. The Image Effects is not available to use, how can I access this feature in this program?

    I am not sure how to activate the Image Effects feature to access the menu. I am unable to use this while using Illustrator. Please help

  6. CMYK separations

    I'd love to be able to save/export a file into 4 separate files of CMYK. I know you can print separations but I'd like to be able to save the separations as separate files. It would be a lot easier then to reprint film for the printing press etc

  7. Please bring back Kuler.

    Please bring back Kuler. I loved that feature and used it all the time to create themed palettes. Now I have to jump through hoops to find themed color palettes and I never have quite the same success as with Kuler. I am mystified about why it was taken away.

    Masking simple and fast objects - Quo Vadis My Pallete?
    Illustrator has several practical methods for masking objects. Bravo and thank you!

    But in practice...
    object masking is superimposed and confusing. I know what I write. I use Illustrator 20 years at work and iine applications.

    On the forum you can also find many problems or ideas to improve this section. Dear Adobe team, you can certainly improve it.

  9. Better Colour Separations

    Illustrator does not print all Photoshop DCS (.eps) colour separations since CS6. It always returns a blank plate.
    As a Screen printer, it would be nice to have seamless colour separations for my RIP.

  10. Interaction in graphic styles, with several inputs

    Graphic styles is only something you apply. I would like some interactions possibilities with the graphic styles, so that you for example could get an interactions panel that told you what kind of interactions you could do (insert photo/graphic/text etc). And that when you clicked on each possible interaction in the panel, then a pin, marked box or something would highlight in the graphic where the input would take place. Like many web images have, with hot spots. Would be one way to do it. The important thing is not how it is done, but that you get to have…

  11. Relative placement shapes in appearance panel

    When you use shapes in appearance panel and save to reuse, then the look you get is depending on the text you type in as these shapes move in relation to the text. If I want to have a square that does not move with the text but at the beginning of text, no matter how long text, then that is impossible. Would be great with more options and fix regarding all this with shapes in appearance panel.

  12. appearance fill shape options rectangle - set percentage also (instead of points)

    Hi! In Appearance fill "shape options" where one can set background rectangle. It would be good if you could set percentage values and not only points. Because it limits the use. Then the look depend on how big your artwork is. It is a difference to have 10 point margin to a square 100 point rectangle compared to 1000 point rectangle. So please add that possibility. Thanks!

  13. automatic trapping plug-in would be a great step forward.

    An automatic trapping feature, or a plug-in to that effect, would be of great convenience when submitting files for output.

  14. For Illustrator CC 2019, sometimes when I open a document, it says it's open but it's not visible. Only the chrome is.

    This is a bug that needs to be fixed.

  15. problema con editar colores volver a colorear

    Buen dia al Editar colores en un documento ya creado anteriormente al cambiar los colores doy ok y al volver a abrir y revisar los porcentajes de color no se cambian y siguen como antes repito y sigue por favor cual será la solución gracias

  19. Another way to colorize our illustrations.

    As we all know, Adobe Flash is no longer part of the Adobe Creative Cloud. But there is one very useful feature of Flash that should be part of Adobe Illustrator and that is the way that we where able to colorize vectors on Flash.
    With Illustrator we can put a color inside an object, but if i want to put some colours into a surface between some handdrawned vectors that crosses I can't do it.

    Even the way that we were able to select a part of a vector when they crossed each other.

    Those were very practical ways…

  20. Opening Last opened/recent documents

    Problems opening Last opened/recent documents in Adobe Illustrator

    I teach Adobe Illustrator to around 60 16 year olds.
    When they first open the program & either double click on the image of their last document it often won't open. In fact it often opens another recent file, but not the one they actually have clicked on. The only way round I have found to get up their work is to >window & turn Application Frame off? This is far from ideal & I don't understand why it's suddenly started happening......
    As you can imagine the 16 year olds find this…
