Allow us to set a custom scale instead of having only one 1/10 through Large Canvas
I know there is already a massive discussion around this topic, but I had an idea this morning. The "Large Artboard" that is now available as far as I can tell is not truly a new massive artboard. It's just doing 1:10 scale math for you automatically. I see underneath the hood when using my vinyl cutter for example. A file sent to the cutting software sees everything at 10% size. Another example is when copy/paste from large artboard to a normal board, it will come in at 10% size.

Atomic Design workflow between Illustrator, Figma/XD and Dreamweaver.
Create a workflow between Illustrator, Figma/Adobe XD and Dreamweaver to easily implement Atomic Design systems. In Illustrator, the user should be able to create atoms, molecules, organisms, templates, and pages of a design system that can be opened in Figma/Adobe XD and Dreamweaver too, to speed up prototyping and development.
This workflow should create CSS, classes etc from the Illustrator file on. The changes in Illustrator or Figma/XD should propagate to Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

Marking already-placed images after import
Having Illustrator flag placed images (by small icon or turning the text to italics?) under the "File > Place" pop-up window when using LIST mode (by Illustrator finding duplicates comparing in the Links pallete) helping the user keep track when a large number of images need to be placed.
Right now if I have 50 images to place I have to use memory of where I was placing each or compare links pallete to finder window as a list to check at the end.

Select items in Layers in sync with objects on canvas
We have to work with a strange legacy dichotomy when making a selection in Layers is NOT equal to making a selection on canvas and vice versa.
No other vector application does it like this:
XD, Affinity Designer, Corel Draw, Figma, Xara, Inkscape...Other apps which have layered structures don’t do this also:
Photoshop, Blender, 3DS Max...InDesign and Illustrator are lonely black sheep in the flock of apps.
We need a mode (as an option) to be able to sync both selection methods.
Clicking an object on canvas should highlight the name of it in Layers.

Mesh tool hold and drag
When we click a shape with the Mesh tool, a node gets immediately applied to the shape/mesh, a new row and a column get instantly inserted. If I keep holding the mouse button / pen, it won’t help me anymore to position my node precisely. So the insertion should not happen immediately on a mouse click, but on a mouse release, drawing all the possible results while the button / pen is held down.

Add an optional alert sound
I would like to have an option to enable an alert sound whenever I nudge or move an object in Illustrator. This would help me avoid accidental movements that can ruin my design or cause alignment issues. Sometimes I don’t notice that I have moved an object slightly when I click on it, and it can be very frustrating and time-consuming to fix it later.

Option to turn off the warning about deleting a layer containing artwork
How do I turn off the warning about deleting a layer containing artwork? There's no "don't show again" option in the pop-up. :(
In my line of work I delete layers with artwork constantly and it does take time to click the warning dozens if not hundred times a day. I use Illustrator 27.1.1.2 votes -

Artboard size no longer shows 4th decimal place
You can create a document with 4 decimal places, but it will no longer show you that exact measurement in the toolbar unless you click the Artboard Options button (otherwise it is now rounded to the 3rd decimal place). Likely not an issue for most people, but this could cause confusion/issues in industries where small rounding issues can cause problems when repeating artwork. I'm fairly certain earlier versions of CC 2023 didn't have this issue, but I know for a fact this was not the behavior in CC 2022 or earlier.

Selecting colors in my color library isn't working, even if object is selected
Suddenly, I'm unable to change the fill or stroke color of my selected object via my color library like I always do. I attached a video showing my attempts. I have no idea what happened, because it was working just fine a few hours ago.

The large print documents do not give the option of exporting the artwork to dxf or dwg format.
Whenever I work on large print documents, I do not have the option to export it to dwg format. I have to re-size the artwork and the copy and paste it into a normal A4 size document and then export the artwork in dwg file. And after I open the file in cad, I have to re-size it again to actual scale.
However when I export, I have an option to exporting the artwork in 1:100 or 1:500, but I don't have the habit of working with scales and it feels inconvenient.

API for getting the reflection/flip property of an image frame
We would like to get the flip property of an image frame..
It can be in a similar way to the way we get the rotation by passing the matrix:
AIAPI void (*AIRealMatrixGetRotate) ( const AIRealMatrix *m, AIReal *angle );If this is not possible, then as a workaround we can get some notifies, for example: kFlipHorizontalNotifier or kFlipVerticalNotifier in order to know that the user selects to flip the image.

Simple Drop Shadow Action - make action active
I'm trying to create a drop shadow action for a specific ratio that will be used company wide. But each time I try to record it, it doesn't want to stay active. It's always grayed out and unusable.

Copy Live Type into Indesign in Preserving text boxes
I work on graphic novels where the type layers are set in PS (ugh)
Brought into Illustrator as editable text. Would love to be able to copy and paste the entire page as editable formatted text into InDesign,

Make Intertwine Edit mode telegraphed better
Intertwine edit mode is not telegraphed clear enough.
No custom markers (like Live Paint has) for its bounding box (there is NO bounding box at all, when Edit is chosen), no isolation happens (while it perhaps should, to signal the 'lasso' tool won’t grab anything unnecessary), no breadcrumbs strip above, nothing.
No zones are displayed, but it’s another request’s topic.

Keep link when placing DXF/DWG file
Could it be possible to keep the link to the original file when placing a DXF or a DWG in Illustrator?
The goal is to be able to update the view if the external file change...
having the geometry active like it's done for text glyph in order to be able to snap to geometry could be the cherry on the cake.Many thanks

Export for screens missing modern features in order to be useful for responsive images on the web in 2022
It's 2022 and responsive images on the web are well supported across all browsers.
Export for Screens is close to being a good tool for this, but missing out on a few smaller but critical needs for modern responsive web (by priority):

request to include additional information in XMP metadata that could give an indication of an image's status. Help designate if image is linked or embedded. Currently there is no distinction in the XMP metadata.
