MAJOR PROBLEMS!! Cache/Scratch NOT assigning to my selected Drives
No matter how many times I un-install and re-install Illustrator, the program WILL NOT ACCEPT when I select a destination to my specific and dedicated Cache/Scratch SSD. I have a permanent studio setup with the latest MacBook Pro 64GB of RAM.. Everything was custom built the best it could be in April of 2020. The second I open Adobe Illustrator, my Available RAM goes from around 55GB to 124MB?!!!!!!! I know it's a RAM heavy program but that is insanity. Nothing is that heavy or works like that. Please Add Chinese to caption in Help
In options you can only choose from English, French, Dutch and Korean. No option for Chinese. Please help and add Chinese there too.

Maintain Word style
When I paste an italicized Word font into the Illustrator, it becomes plain text.
I'd like to see Adobe improve this feature so that you can "copy and paste" while maintaining Word's italics and other styles.

Problem with the Type menu > Change Case
Using change case will re format or strip[ the typeface and other attributes of the text! This is a bug, not a feature!

Auto back up does not work and it should. Everything is set correctly and I use Jing - however it's set as once an hour for a back up
File back up for crashes needs to work as per the settings. If it set to back up every 2 mins - then where are the files? They don't seem to exist - not like In Design where my last file is brought back.

Artboard Textures
Textured artboard choice, ie canvas, wood, concrete, liquid etc.
When new drawings happen all the work reacts according to the artboard type, ie lineworks degrade if on a canvas texture. I know this can be simulated afterwards but the linework or colour fills don’t degrade accurately, it’s more a superimposition.
I also realise this would take an awful lot of computing power!

Access to sub-layers has disappeared.
Not sure if this is happening to everyone, but the arrows to access my sublayers have gone missing... and the ability to GET to my sublayers went with.
I have updated, uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted... and it persists.
Thoughts?

SVG Import image X and Y positions are multiplied by 2
If you open this SVG in Chrome, FF, Inkscape, etc, the rectangle and the 120.png image should be stacked on top of each other. However, in Illustrator CC (As of 09-23-2020) the image appears at 240x240 for the X/Y position instead of the defined 120x120. Appears to be this way only with the image tag. If you were to do a transformation matrix, it fixes the problem but still it should be imported properly into Illustrator.

Disintegrate Tool
Just like we have Crystallize and Wrinkle tools, can we have a tool along with it to disintegrate the edge of a shape? Thanks a lot

Replace file with same name!
Exporting png or other format, save with exact name, select "replace file", does not replace file but makes NEW file with "artboard" or other additional text. PLEASE when we select "replace", REPLACE the same file with the same name. Have to manually rename over 20 files. We have files that are linked in Indesign and this causes lots of extra time and effort every time there is an edit. Clients have to pay more for extra time, something that should be simple causes a large ripple effect when every other application renames replacement files correctly. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Free Distort Zoom
You guys should allow Free Distort to be zoomed-up on in the Free Distort window. It'd be nice to be able to zoom up real close into that window like one can on an artboard.

Feedback on Enhanced Cloud Document Feature (in Beta now)
Now, embed Photoshop cloud documents into your cloud documents and files. You will be able to select your Photoshop cloud documents in a new cloud picker in the Place dialog.
Track the status of individual cloud documents, through the Cloud Sync icon in your CDO.

Recolor Artwork Tool - Separate Colors by Groups
I'd love to be able to pull up the recolor artwork tool and separate all of the colors by grouped objects.
I want to pull the color scheme from one grouped set of shapes into another, but hate having to sort out which ones belong to each, especially when they are similar shades. (example: pulling the colors from a pineapple into an orange, and be able to sort by the colors in each fruit's grouped paths)

Problem with Adobe Illustrator pressure on a Surface pro 7
I recently purchased a Surface Pro 7. I am a graphic designer and an artist and I've always worked on Illustrator but after installing it to my Surface Pro the experience is ruined for me.
I cannot get a sharp line even if my life depended on it.
Basically the lines inside the box are the lines I'm getting, the single line outside of the box is what I should be getting but I'm not. It's like the pressure works but not on the low end as I can't make a line sharp, it always ends up like this.

Ability to create a new document
I want to create a new document and not one from a template. Please add "Create New Blank Document".
I use this for mobile games and don't think it's fair I have to revert back to Legacy to just create a quick ai file to edit and go.
