1. Paint Brush crashes the app

   Paint brush tool (using the art brushes) crashes the app after a few strokes, and you can’t export AI or PDF if you have paint brush strokes in your file.
   Also, the app crashes when moving objects in layers.

3. Using paint brush after changing greyscale color scale reverts color to black

   If color of paint brush changed using grayscale slider, paint brush color reverts to black after use. Only occurs with paint brush, pencil and blob brush work as expected.

   Steps to reproduce:
   1. select the paint brush tool
   2. select grayscale slider in color pane and change the color from black to some other value.
   3. draw with the paint brush tool
   4. resulting drawing is revert to black color

5. Lost all added fonts as well as….

   App keeps crashing, freezing and lost all of my added fonts. So frustrating when trying to get work done. I pay for this app and can’t use it. Please fix it ASAP

6. Doesn't allow export or shows blank screen

   Selecting export .psd or .pdf either yields an error message saying that my project cannot be exported, or it works and then shows a blank screen when it should show the options on where to export.

10. Recents disappear after closing and reopening app

    Every time I close and reopen the app the recents disappear and have to select files and reselect home to get them back.

11. App crashes when working on one project

    Im working on a project for work and when i open the file it crashes immediately, i cant get anything done on it. But when i open other projects they work fine? My iPad is updated and nothing else is off but it’s getting really frusturating. Need this commission done this week please help

13. Texts not showing up on Illustrator for iPad

    The texts are not showing up whenever I add a text box. Been going on for several hours. Even deleted & reinstalled the app. Changed nothing. This is part of my work.

14. Can’t export file as a jpeg in high quality on my iPad 7.th gen

    When I try to export the file as jpeg, sometimes it won't let me export and it says "can’t export file". I encountered this problem before and I thought because there was not enough space. I deleted some data and freed up about 6gb of storage. It was fine but today I can't export in high quality and resolution again. When I choose low resolution and low quality, no problem, it saves as jpeg. So what's wrong with this option?

15. Freezing and crashing

    Constantly freezing while trying to use various features, such as selecting multiple layers or toggling layer view. This has happened on multiple projects today and yesterday. The app sometimes crashes while this happens, other times I have to force it to close and lose my unsaved work.

18. File name window sometimes too low to comfortably input via iPad keyboard

    Sometimes the input window is too low and doesn’t go up when using iPad keyboard. Not sure, what affects it, but after switching app to another and then back to illustrator it fixes itself.

19. Stroke styles bug

    When I set a brush style on a stroke (on a line), for example a calligraphy brush style, and then later on I want to reset it to basic style, it won’t do anything, it won’t reset. Please fix this.

20. SVG export crash

    Illustrator on iPad, current version as of 10/23/22.

    The document has 5 artboards.

    Export as SVG of the artboards 3-5 does not work; if the range is specifically set to only those artboards, it hangs (see attached Screenshot). If the range also includes other artboards, it exports only those.

    Note: While editing a path in artboard 3, the app had displayed a "Processing..." progress bar. After about 5 minutes I force-quit the app and restarted it. Artboards 4 and 5 were copied from art board 3. This may or may not be related to the export issue.

    Export of the document in .ai format works.

    Note: This system does seemingly not allow including the .ai file in this bug report. Please email me to request the file.

    Edit: This may be related to the names of the artboards. A "/" in the name of the artboard seems to cause this issue.
