  1. App crashes after opening

    The app crashes when launched or if I try opening any project. Was working fine before system update.
    I already tried to delete the app and install it again.

  2. Crashing When Re-naming Layers

    I just recently started using Illustrator again for some work projects after a couple of months away. I’ve noticed a new bug where the app crashes every time I try to rename a layer and loses all work since my last manual save. The app has always been a little glitchy, and I’m used to that, but this has happened consistently every time I try to rename a layer over the past several days.

  4. PLEASE look into why layers are NOT being highlighted when selected on artboard!

    I cannot continue any of my projects if this isn’t fixed as I work with over 1k+ layers and thousands of paths. I need to be able to press any drawing on the artboard to find the layer it is in….what happened these past months for this to become an issue ESPECIALLY when there has been no update.

    Going to cancel my subscription until this is fixed. This is ridiculous.

  5. Why is an app from $1 billion company freezing every five minutes?!?!

    I can’t go five minutes working on a file without the art boards freezing and not allowing me to zoom in and out. This is ridiculous coming from $1 billion company like Adobe. Tell me how Affinity can provide a software for free and it’s 1000 times more efficient and bug free than Adobe software. It’s crazy.

  7. Unable to open files after IpadOS 26.4 update

    When I try to open a file to work on, it’ll attempt to load the project, the UI properly loads, then the entire app freezes and crashes. I am unable to access my projects.

    Edit: The file I attempted to open after several tries, however seems very unreliable.
    Edit 2: I tried opening a different file and this error message popped up (IMG_0311.jpeg). This hasn’t happened prior to the OS update.

  8. Objects jumping - Can’t move them precisely

    I’m trying to create repeat files I can download as tiles. To do so, I’m trying to duplicate and move objects precisely using the x and y positions in Properties, but the objects keep jumping/snapping so I can’t do it. Sometimes it works, but often it doesn’t, even with snapping turned off. Is there another way to make repeatable tiles?

    I cannot find a way to open a file that is stored in a project in the ipad, not on the illustrator app itself, not in files, not in adobe express.

  10. Why press the backspace button will delete the 2nd word on the left

    Is this a bug? I can’t just delete the word as my went.
    And I can’t use the “up” “down” “left” “right” button to move the word input position in the text box.

    I using iPad air and magic keyboard.

  11. Crashes when renaming paths

    I use an M4 iPad Pro and the app always crashes whenever I try to rename a path or layer. I tried restarting the app, reinstalling it but nothing has seemed to work so far. Extremely frustrating, since you always lose your progress if you didn‘t save beforehand and you need to look for the thing that you‘re looking for for ages.

  14. UI Rendering Bug on M4 iPad Pro: Canvas doesn't match Layers Panel

    I am reporting a severe rendering/cache bug. When importing images, the canvas displays incorrect artifacts that DO NOT exist in the original files. Even on the M4 iPad Pro, the app fails to refresh the visual display correctly.

    The Evidence (Referencing Attached Screenshots):

    Visual Discrepancy: My "Layers Panel" shows Object 3 is on the very top, but on the Canvas, it is incorrectly covered by "ghosting" pixels from Object 1.

    Not a File Issue: These artifacts are NOT part of my images. They are UI glitches created by the app's rendering engine.

  17. Moving Artboards (Text Displaced)

    • When I move an artboard, if one layer is locked, the text gets displaced and does not return to its original position.
    • Pressing Undo doesn’t restore it to its correct positions.
    • The only way to fix this is by reverting to a previous file version using Version History.

    When opening Illustrator, the app automatically wants to paste from other apps. It’s almost constant.

    Switching to another app and returning to Illustrator can cause the artboard to freeze while the toolbars stay functional.

  20. Artboard Freezing (Zooming)

    – When zoomed in, using two fingers to zoom out can cause the artboard to freeze.
    – The toolbars remain responsive, but the artboard does not.
    – To fix it, the app must be fully closed and reopened; exiting the file only doesn’t work.
