  1. Double tap to deselect path not working

    There’s an option to make a double tap a shortcut to deselect a path or object, but it’s not working currently. Hope this can be fixed soon, loving the app so far!

    Hi,

    To deselect a path while using pen tool is to press the modifier and then tap. Not just a double. If it is something else please do us know.

  2. The illustrator app just crashes when loading. It opens up the main screen and then closes. I have updated my iPad software.

    Illustrator won’t load. Both my app and iPad are up to date but still not letting me use it. It was working perfectly fine the first time and then all of sudden not working at all. Please let me know how I can fix this or if you need any more feedback.

  3. Problem with “exporting” via email. Ends up in draft folder of email and reports smtp thread incorrect…. Seemed to add the word apple

    Tried to export a PDF formated image via email…. Ended in email Draft folder…. When tried to send again, it returned message smtp incorrect…. Seemed to add the word apple in front of output thread for gmail…. “Apple.mail.xxxxxxx.gmail.com”.

  8. Paint bucket

    I would love a paint bucket. I draw with blob brush and create a lot of outlines of shapes that then need filling in. On desktop I use paint bucket, then expand and combine in pathfinder. Am I missing a way to do this on iPad?

  9. There appears to be a bug with Trajan Color Concept font on the iPad app

    This font appears in the fonts, but won’t appear when I type. It just blank like nothings there

  11. Text tool

    When I open the text tool to write something, the options / settings row is not responsive in landscape mode (iPad Pro 11“). It is not possible to scroll the settings row down to use all options. Not with fingers or pen.

  12. I have a super simple completed graphic, and every time I try to ungroup, illustrator crashes.

    Also my mini toolbar doesn’t show up when I direct select the graphic. Help!

  13. Ai is not syncing Cloud files correctly

    Yesterday I updated Ai and I realized that Illustrator is not syncing cloud files correctly, not sure why but I tried with Fresco and it’s works well there.

  14. Gradient

    Gradient tool is difficult to utilize. Instead of allowing me to adjust points on a gradient, it is more likely to add a new one. Then it becomes a trick in itself to delete them.

  16. Y positioning bug in Properties panel

    Using iPad Pro 9.7 with iOS 14.0.1 and Illustrator 1.0.2:
    Selected a path using direct selection tool. In Properties panel, attempted to alter Y position by using scrubbing control. At first the position moved a small amount as expected, but suddenly the numbers blew up to astronomical values. Tried to get it back to original value by typing original value in Y value box but it would not accept input, only would change to different astronomical values.

  17. It’s so laggy it’s frustrating

    I have a 12.9 iPad Pro, so I know I have plenty of power, why is this app so tragically slow. It takes multiple seconds to respond to any command. Even switching between tools.

    I used to be able to add fonts in .ttf file format, but now it requests a validation and says its not available.

  19. Can’t export on Ipad 7th gen.

    Can’t export on IPad 7th gen, sometimes it crashes as well. Also will there be any integration with the Procreate app somehow? I’m working with procreate, I know it is a pixel based app, however it would be nice to have it as a export friendly option so that the users could image trace on the adobe illustrator app as well. I think that would be an excellent pairing.

  20. Export to .psd doesn’t work

    Necesito exportar a .psd con capas pero cuando voy a elegir el lugar donde quiero guardar no pasa nada. He probado con Dropbox, files, iCloud y no funciona
