couple of bugs noticed
some captured shapes from creative cloud jagged/fuzzy edges, not smooth & crisp “out of focus”
some shapes from creative cloud don’t have the blue adjust selection on them when opened into canvas.

Unable to rename layers
I assume double clicking
renames layers but I’m unable to do so and cannot find a way to do it2 votesThe way to rename layers is to flick the layer name in the layers panel to the left and click on ‘T’ icon to rename the layer.

Objects can’t be selected “through” an area that’s been subtracted in pathfinder
After subtracting one shape from another, the subtracted area is still considered solid by the selection tool. So visible objects in the background aren’t selectable, because they’re blocked by a blank area of a foreground object.

Colors not the same when i open the iPad file on my computer
I worked on Illustrator on my IPad Pro version 14.3 saved my files on the Cloud
When i open it on Illustrator on my computer ( Microsoft Surface) the Colors are not the good one.1 vote -

“Duplicate” touch shortcut not working
Move + secondary touch area should duplicate an object, but it doesn’t. The primary touch function (move on X/Y works fine). And the scale proportionally is opposite... scales non-proportionally when no touch is activated, proportionally with primary touch. (Like old versions of Adobe products.)

Export issues
Every time I try to export from Adobe illustrator for the iPad as any file type besides a pdf, it severely cuts the quality of the image. To the point where it is unusable. PDFs do not save the cutouts of an image, so they are unusable in my line of work. Please fix this ASAP it is debilitating for this app.

Can't drag a shape out of a layer if it's the only shape in that layer
When a layer contains only one shape or group, you can't drag that object out of the layer. That's because Illustrator iPad selects the entire layer when you select a single object in that layer.
Workaround: draw a second shape in that layer, drag out the initial shape, then deleted the original layer.
The same problem occurs when you want to drag all of the objects out of a layer: when you select them, Illustrator automatically selects the layers as well, so you can't drag the objects to move them to another layer.

Can’t move layer and layer disappear
Sometimes I can't select my layers I have to switch tools and it may work. And some layers disappear in the panel layer

Fonts not showing when saved as a pdf
After editing the file on my IPad the font changed into squares

When drawing then pressing cmd-z for undo, it will take me to the select tool?
I’ll be drawing with the brush tool and then I’ll undo. The stroke does undo, but it then takes me to the select tool meaning I have to reselect the brush tool again every time.

Unable to import via Files App
Hi there!
As I try to import a file via Apples Files App, I get this failure notice. A manual download of this or any other file in the CC App doesn‘t work either.

Resolution/raster setting info unclear and worrisome
I discovered on the help board that all files on illustrator for iPad or vector files and therefore do not need a resolution adjustment. It took me a full day to find that information and it is not clear in the app. To add to the confusion the only information we do clearly have says raster affects 72 dpi. So looking at that it sounds like the file I just worked on for four hours is at 72 dpi instead of 300 dpi like my printer needs. There’s nothing available in the app that mentions anything about the actual resolution.…

Gradient swatches
I create a swatch for a gradient without a problem, but when I select another vector and apply the swatch, nothing happens.
(Until then, for anyone wanting to work around the bug, go to the “solid color” option and back to “gradient color,” it should work then)
