Your program is useless!!!
It uses extreme amounts of resources?! That slows everything down on my laptop! Takes for ever to respond? Cannot log this problem with a support team or anyone to help? The worst is, this happens on both my wife and my laptop. We loose so much work!! It gets to a point where I am waiting more for illustrator to respond than actually working on it? It hangs, stops and then have to be restarted, usually, design is lost!! Super frustrating and really something you need to look at improving!!

Vertical Transform Controls Rotate Instead of Resize
When attempting to resize an element that is zoomed-in, clicking on the vertical transform handles changes the cursor to vertical scale arrows as expected. However, dragging the handle rotates the element instead.
This affects both the Top and Bottom handles for transform but does not affect the Left or Right. All other transform features appear to work as expected.8 votes -

Character Style Bug Default
Here's the problem of latest illustrator
these below info is lock to this settings
even if i uninstall the illustrator, or make changes to Character Style options
and Paragraph style options, even i save a template for a4 size.
this settings always come back to this annoying default settingsThis default settings is a bug in illustrator

Rotation Problem with Transform Controls

illustrator Stops Responding when Scrolling Fonts in Glyph Panel
While trying to select an appropriate Glyph from a symbol font installed in Windows 11, the dropdown font list in the Glyph panel makes Illustrator stop responding for as many as 3 full minutes. The Windows alert "Illustrator preview is not responding" is displayed prompting you to exit the app, but in the time it takes to fill out this form, it finally becomes responsive again. The radial grid is limited to 100 repetitions, it would be more than desirable to increase the maximum number to more than 250.
Quite simple in principle,

I lose my work!!
I was working on my portfolio and the program crashed. I repeatedly tried to save my file but it never allowed me to do so until the program closed, and now I can't find a way to recover my progress. I had never had any issues with AI until this moment and I am very upset!!!
