1. Cut and Paste in not working in Illustrator 29.7.1 16 bit

   I can cut or copy an object but the object will not paste. This problem occurs via the menu and the keyboard shortcut.

2. Transform Pattern Tiles option doesn’t work when using Bounding Box

   The 29.6.1 build (and the latest Beta build 29.8.0.5) ignores the Transform Pattern Tiles option being enabled when scaling an object using bounding box.

   The pattern is rendered as if it’s scaled / rotated while you drag (if Real-Time Drawing and Editing is enabled), but resets back when you release the mouse button / pen.

   I use Windows. I tried this with the GA build 29.6.1 and it works fine...

   The team needs to know the exact hardware and OS specifications for the affected users and kindly asks to test it with the latest Beta to make sure it behaves the same as the general 29.6.1 build.

   After a recent update, the application crashes unexpectedly when using the Pencil tool (N) while continuously holding the Command key during drawing. This crash occurs without any warning, and none of the work is saved, resulting in repeated data loss.

   Steps to Reproduce:

   Launch Illustrator Beta

   Select the Pencil Tool (N)

   Begin drawing with the mouse while continuously holding the Command key

   After a short period, the application crashes without warning

   Is this a known issue?

5. Exported Asset from Photoshop PDF file in Illustrator Renders Incorrectly in Photoshop

   Platform:
   • Adobe Illustrator Version: 29.3.1 (Latest as of 3/10/2025)
   • Operating System: Windows 11 (Fully Updated)
   • Hardware: Intel Core i9, NVIDIA RTX (Latest Drivers Installed)

   Issue Summary:
   When opening a Photoshop PDF in Illustrator, elements are recognized as Non-Native Art. When exporting an asset from this file using the Asset Export panel (see Screenshot-1.png), the resulting exported PDF does not display correctly in Photoshop (see Screenshot-2.png). Instead of rendering properly, the exported file contains distorted lines and artifacts, making it unusable.

   Steps to Reproduce:
   • Open a Photoshop PDF in Adobe Illustrator.
   • Observe that the artwork is identified as Non-Native Art in the Layers panel.
   • Use the Asset Export panel to export the image as a PDF.
   • Open the exported PDF in Adobe Photoshop.
   • Notice that the image is corrupted, with incorrect rendering, visible lines, and artifacts.

   Expected Behavior:
   • The exported asset should maintain the visual integrity of the original artwork.
   • When opened in Photoshop, it should closely match the original Photoshop PSD file in both resolution and appearance.

   Actual Behavior:
   • The exported asset appears distorted or incorrectly rendered in Photoshop.
   • Visible lines and artifacts are present that do not exist in the original artwork.

8. Illustrator 2022 doesn't support Emoji Characters

   Someone IT fella in Adobe Illustrator removed the Emoji as characters in Illustrator 2022! Now we are not able to type Apple Emojis in Illustrator!

   Please share a screen recording, are the glyphs inserted through Apple Emoji & Symbol panel? Or glyphs inserted through Type > Glyphs panel?

9. illustrator Stops Responding when Scrolling Fonts in Glyph Panel

   While trying to select an appropriate Glyph from a symbol font installed in Windows 11, the dropdown font list in the Glyph panel makes Illustrator stop responding for as many as 3 full minutes. The Windows alert "Illustrator preview is not responding" is displayed prompting you to exit the app, but in the time it takes to fill out this form, it finally becomes responsive again. However, I can't get through my entire font list to the font I want because it locks up every time. Last time this happened, it was also trying to update saved content in my document cloud for Adobe. Not sure if they are related.
