An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment How large is this object? Can’t see the dimensions or the type size of it.
Does the same happen if you make it much smaller? -

An error occurred while saving the comment A related request:
Allow to collapse all items in Appearance panel
http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/49257572An error occurred while saving the comment Andrew, Alt-clicking arrows in Layers works for me in 27.6.1 on Windows: clicking one collapses the clicked group AND collapses all the child groups of it, so the next time you unfold the group back, the children stay collapsed, unlike they do with a normal click.
And then Alt-clicking the collapsed group will unfold all its children groups as well.
Please recheck if it works. An error occurred while saving the comment Another bonus point for having an assignable hotkey for that :)

An error occurred while saving the comment Sorry, I still can’t grasp it! Perhaps it's the translation issue, or it’s me just being confused.
Can you please explain it with screenshots and some text, like what do you have and what do you expect to get as filenames (and why at all?)An error occurred while saving the comment Mohd, what is the workflow that requires it? What is the benefit of having it named like this?
What should happen if we create another artboard in this case? Please explain! -

An error occurred while saving the comment More of it — I tried to move objects I copied in the ORIGINAL document, and Ai moved them back!
And when I moved one, the text form the attached dimension vanished, and then the app just crashed.
...and now I can’t reproduce it anymore. Argh!AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment I deal with isolation a LOT, and I can understand why this can benefit one. But I don’t think though it should be a default option. An option — maybe, yeah. But I personally just learnt to control it myself.
One of my favorite techniques is to create an object, reorder it where I need it to be, isolate it, and then start creating more to put new stuff directly above the initial one, and not at the top of the layer. I don’t need a group when I do that, and when I do — I select all before ending the mode and create a group.
Christian, what is your intent behind this? I’m curious! -

This issue has been fixed in 29.2 release. Please update your Illustrator to latest version through Creative Cloud Desktop.
An error occurred while saving the comment To add to the status update — the fix that was pushed into Beta happened fast, and the team can update Betas often... but the schedule for the GA (Global Availability) releases is rather strict. Hope this incident changes something in the way how these are handled.
Thank you all so much for coming here at UserVoice and reporting this problem — and others. Never hesitate to come here or at forums and log bugs and ask for features or changes!
I wish for all of us less bugs and more meaningful changes in the coming year.An error occurred while saving the comment Stephane, the team is interested in details.
Can you reproduce it from scratch in a brand new file? It seems like very specific steps lead to it — can you try to catch the exact order?AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Can’t see much in this GIF, but it clearly a substitution happens...
What are these fonts’ names? Can you package this all, along with the font used, and send over to sharewithai@adobe.com, so the team can test it? Add a link to this report in the email’s body so they can track it back here, http://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/939477/suggestions/49031171
An error occurred while saving the comment Lian, this is something new... please record this behavior as a video or a GIF and share a test file with the text object only that behaves like this.
I personally prefer using a small LICEcap app to record GIFs, but there are plenty of recorders.
With no evidence he team won’t be able to start an investigation. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Yohei, which method do you use to change the color? Properties panel, Control panel, dedicated Color panel, Color Picker dialog?
An error occurred while saving the comment Can’t reproduce it on both the latest Beta or GA build. For me the opacity being typed immediately gets rendered on canvas...

An error occurred while saving the comment Clockwise, you say... not in the direction of the path? I suppose not, since Ai provide no direct way to see one, and we can only guess it with arrowheads or brushes.
As for the second request — sure I remember it, yes. The second vote it has is mine :)
Alas, even though I have a badge, my voice means as much as anyone else’s.While the request with the hotkey seems like the team can properly implement, this one feels like a goal a script can achieve.
Don’t you mind to explain a bit more of the tasks you have do with this one, please?AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Imagine the path is closed, and there is the same number of points between two selected points of it in each direction. Which one of two Ai should choose to select and why?

I can confirm one half of it for sure.
The bounding box fits my text precisely, but the Y-coordinate of it indeed doesn’t even try to stay the same. By alternating positive and negative values it’s simple to make the text fly off completely.
The way it should behave, I think, it’s how the Effect > Warp effect does it (the second GIF).
That’s why I avoid the envelope distortion with an adjustable warp, but love effects (and custom tailored meshes).
