I work in macOS and periodically run into this problem. I have created a graphic style for stroked line with weight and global color. The style cloning bug occurs randomly. Sometimes I copy an object with a style and the style is duplicated, sometimes the style is not duplicated. This is annoying.

In this case, the order of the arguments is described, but the developer enters numerical values, not the names from the documentation. So I don't think capitalization consistency is that important. It's much more important when the PDF documentation has direct typos in the names of keys and methods that make the code unworkable. These need to be fixed, and there are several reports about this on UV.

The team has made fixes related to this problem.
Many script commands that were causing this error now won’t trigger it. Two commands though, Last Filter and Apply Last Filter would still give error because they are not exposed on UI as well.

29.0.1 Mac OS confirmed. What is the use of beta, pre-release, where is QA? If in the final release you roll out such stupid bugs.

I don't quite agree with you. If you uncheck the Lock proportions checkbox and keep the center reference point, the result will be correct.
But when the Lock proportions check box is checked, it is the corner reference point that give us the expected result. In other words, certain reference points help us avoid problems even with locked proportions.
It seems to me that the Illustrator team has not explored all combinations of such settings when using the artboard scale.

It is necessary to activate exactly one of the four corner reference points to transform object and same point for artboard so that it will pass without shifting. However, if any other of the remaining five reference points is active, it will cause a shift when entering a new height or width of the artboard.

This has been going on for over 14 years, starting with CS5 and continuing through CC 2025. It's not about artboards, it's about the fact that guides are drawn relative to the fixed coordinate system of the document, not the object to which we apply "Split into grid"! The guides should be drawn according to the dimensions of the selected object. It's shoddy software development.
