We have done further updates to Dimension tool with recently released version - 28.3
You can create and use your custom scale for dimension, hide or show units on dimensions and dimensions are now sticky to the object - they transform as well when you transform the object.

Please accept my sincere apology for the inconvenience. Please get in touch with us at any of the other support channels – https://helpx.adobe.com/support.html . Since this is not a generic issue that we can reproduce at our end, we will need someone to look into your machine to figure out what is going on here.
Thanks & Regards,
Raghuveer SinghAn error occurred while saving the comment Agape commentedI used to be able to place a photo into an Illustrator artboard... then in order to round the corners, I would create a rounded rectangle, fill with white, then put it on top of the photo, select both and then create a clipping mask.
right now, when I select MAKE MASK, the whole image disappears..
you can see in my attached images that if I INVERT the mask, it seems to do what it is supposed to do ...just shows the inverted rounded corners...... but when deselect INVERT, then the image disappears.Agape supported this idea · -

It seems like this problem happens only for Mac Sonoma users...
Downgrading to a previous version of MacOS seems to be a viable workaround at the moment.
This is not a proposed solution though.
If this happens for you at earlier versions — please comment.
An error occurred while saving the comment Agape commentedThis also happens to me when I'm working with Text... if I outline text (with shortcut), then go to Effect to add stylized effects...but then the menu is "frozen"... I can use other keyboard shortcuts and can save and close out to restart illustrator....but KEEPS happening while I'm working...

The team again asks for help with this issue, since there are not specific steps they can try to reproduce it — the nature of the bug is random.
If you are a Windows user, the next time you spot a missing or a duplicated number in Artboards panel, please follow these instructions below.
1. Open Task Manager
2. In Details tab, locate 'Illustrator.exe'
3. Right click it and choose 'Create dump file'
4. Wait until the dumping process is complete and click 'Open file location' button
5. Find 'Illustrator.dmp' (sorting files by date helps) and compress it with any archiving utility
6. Upload the archive to a file hosting service of your choice and sent the link for download to sharewithai@adobe.com. Please use the subject 'Artboards numbering bug dump'
This will help provide necessary clues to locate the source of the problem. If you are a Mac user —…
An error occurred while saving the comment Agape commentedI created 15 distinct artboards...but it created artboard 14 twice...so when I exported all the artboards it skipped the one that should have been artboard 13

This issue was reintroduced in MacOS update Ventura. The team ran into another issue while implementing the workaround suggested by Apple. While the team revisits this issue, users can use workaround this issues by paste through context menu. Thank you all for the patience.
