An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commented@Egor, maybe that is where the confusion comes from - an update,
I am working on some cartoon style illustrations, and when I need a variation of e.g. a skin tone, I apply a Global Color Swatch, and then drag a copy in the Swatches palette to change it. It keeps its name, and is some kind of new instance of the same Global Color Swatch - if I change it, all Swatches with the same name change along.
So, I can just remove two of the instances without loosing applied colors.
But Merge should work too, in my opinion, since the colors are the exact same.Merge Swatches can be much fancier anyway, think about:
-Merge All matching Swatches at once
-Merge Similar (with a tolarance setting)Jan Vork shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedPlease add a Brightness/Contrast tool.
Sometimes an illustration just needs more contrast. That is hard to achieve with the 'Edit colors' tool, which is mostly about hue and saturation.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedIn some occasions it comes in handy to see all anchor points, even those of unselected objects. (to snap to e.g.)
Please make this possible. A small hint may be enough, to distinguish 'm from selected anchors.
Jan Vork supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedIn some occasions, it comes in handy to see where anchor points reside on non-selected paths (to snap to, or cut with the knife or whatever).
Please add a Preference to do so - a tiny hint of where the points are may be enough. -

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commented@Egor - For example when making big repeating patterns (e.g. to use as a texture tile or pattern tile).
To create a seamless tile, I need to replicate the element at the sides to the opposite sides. In stead of using the Move command to copy elements (and repeatedly enter the distance in the numeric field), I like to enter this as Keyboard Increment, to have it handy at all time.
Let's say the tile I am working on is 4096 x 4096 px - currently I have to use 1024 as Keyboard Increment and press it four times to reach the other side. I think 1296, is some kind of 8 bit leftover. Don't know why it is still a limit.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedI use Ai often as a texture-creator.
I create layers for color, bump, normal, reflection etc. to import in Cinema4D.Since export to .psd / Write Layers does not work in every case, it would be nice to have the possibility to export Layers as separate images.

Just like in After Effects. 10 recent, the last one with a shortcut.
