An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedIn early days, Preview could be taking a lot of time, but today, most people like Preview while editing a Swatch color. So please, don't let us having to switch it on over and over again.
Let the Swatch Options palette remember the status of Preview - either on or off.Jan Vork supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedPlease let the Swatch Options panel remeber that I want to Preview color changes. In the current version w have to click it over and over.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedI have to activate it each time again. This function was nice when computers where slow, but nowadays Preview is no problem, and wanted in most cases.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedAnnoying to have switchin it on each time we edit a global color.
Please keep the Preview check in the last chosen state.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedPlease add /Snap to Artboard bounds (like Photoshop Snap to Document Bounds).
Or repair Smart Guides to prefer Artboard Bounds. It now avoids Artboard Bounds when switched on,

Done in version 26 (2022). You can now use Tab and Shift+Tab to cycle focus while renaming layers and artboards (but not assets yet — vote to make it happen, https://illustrator.uservoice.com/forums/333657/suggestions/31567951). Yay!
Please comment here if you have any issues with how it works). An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedWhen editing a sequence of layers, each has to be clicked, one by one.
Why not activate the cursor down arrow to allow the user to rename layers one after another, without leaving the text editing mode?Jan Vork supported this idea · -

Live preview of color is now live in Illustrator 27.1.1, for Color Picker dialog, Color panel, Properties and Control panel, and Appearance panel.
It works in GPU mode only.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedWhen an object is selected, and it's color is double clicked, a colour picker appear to change the color. Unfortunately, the color change is not interactive, it is not updating the color selected object, and therefor less usefull as a design tool. Pleaes add the possibility to Preview in context.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedStill can't believe that the color picker does not update the color of the selected objects. Adding that will make it a usefull design tool.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commented@Egor, I use that all the time, but when there is art, the Smart Guides can be quite tricky.
An additional selector, like in the Properties / Transform would give a rock solid interface to this pro user feature. An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedYeah! That would be a real time saver. And maybe this new function should have a selector to set the origin on one of the corners or the center.

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedIt can't be accessed through the Appearance Palette, but has to be 'Reset' via the menu.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedEnvelope Distort has an entry in the Appearance palette, but that doesn't seem to be of any use. It can't be edited, deleted or moved.
Why not make it really part of the Appearance?

An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedWith Shift, we can multiply the Cursor Key Distance by 10. Please add a modifier to divide the CKD by 10.

I am happy to share that we have fixed this bug in our latest release – 26.0.0 which is available worldwide now.
Going forward, our goal is to fix as many top User-Voice bugs as possible and as frequently as possible. Given the nature of the fixes, some of the bugs will take a longer time to fix, but we are on it.
You can update to the latest release using Creative Cloud desktop App: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-updates.html
Thank you for all the feedback. Keep it coming!
Jan Vork supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedUsing Swatch Options is a real pain.
I like to work in HSB, but the palette switches to RGB all the time (while the drop down is still on HSB).
And, secondly, it forgets that I like to have the Preview on - why shouldn't anyone don't like to? Please let it remember the user's choices. Thanks!See movie for the struggle.
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedSeems to have to do with the order things are managed in the code of Ai.
(See my request about the New Document dialog, where something alike happens).
An error occurred while saving the comment Jan Vork commentedWhen switching to HSB, the RGB sliders remain.
