Hello all,
This functionality is now available in all the public builds starting V29.0.
To use this functionality, simply select colors from your swatches panel and click on 'create gradient' in the swatch panel options.
Please try out this feature and let us know what you think!

I am happy to share that we have shipped the Bullets and Numbering in 26.4 update for Illustrator. It’s a phased rollout so you may not see 26.4 update yet but it would rollout globally in a day or two.

Mike Escoffery look at the last item in Preferences > Type. Uncheck "Automatic Bulleted and Numbered lists while typing".

The most convenient and quick way will be copying and pasting attributes and appearance through hotkeys as in the powerpoint for example or as it was in freehand 25 years ago...
