  1. Extend/enhance Package command for multiple files

    As it could be valuable to use the "package" feature to generate an autonomous version of a file with its own linked assets (linked image or lib Assets), it could be interesting to optimize and analyze multiple documents to relink files to a single copy when this file is common to multiple docs.

    For Lib Assets it could be interesting to generate a library archive of those assets too, in the case of this "package" operation comes at the end of a project for archiving.

  2. Illustrator Updates

    Every single time I try and update Adobe Illustrator, it gives me an Error Code 145 and does not update. I have to log out of Creative Cloud, restart my computer, log back into Creative Cloud, and try updating again. This is incredibly frustrating since I usually have several other things in the works and I have to close everything down and restart. The explanation I got, "the application processes would have stuck which causes the error." PLEASE FIX THIS!

  3. Auto spell checker underline and hidden characters should disappear in Trim View

    When switching to “Trim View”, grid and lines and bleed and anything outside the artboards disappear, providing a nice preview of the document you’re working on.

    However the red zigzag underline of the auto spell checker and the symbols from Show Hidden Characters are not hidden, so that the preview is still cluttered with working tools.

    It should probably behave like the Preview mode in InDesign (W) and only shows the artwork.

  4. Customize Preset Stroke Weight

    Not sure if this is in the right category but I would like the ability to preset the stroke weight to something smaller (or bigger) than 1px. If I'm using the pen tool for multiple things I find that the stroke weight of 1px can be too heavy & I can't see what I'm outlining in the fine detail I require because the stroke is so big, so I was wondering if there was a way to set it in the preferences window so that every time I created a shape or path with the pen tool the stroke weight…

  5. Action save as pdf preset recording problem

    hi

    problem is; when you record new action save as pdf and change pdf preset saving format to pdf/x-2008 or any preset not saving recorded action, its saving as only illustrator defaulf pdf preset format. i have allot artwork needs to save as small preset pdf. but not working. please fix the problem. thank you.

  6. Power Efficiency

    Since I've moved to working remotely entirely, I've noticed how quickly using several Adobe programs burns through my laptop battery. I'm running a brand new 16" Macbook Pro with the latest MacOS Catalina version, and I'm lucky if I get an hour and a half of battery life while running InDesign and Illustrator at the same time. When I review what is using the most battery life, my Mac lists InDesign, Illustrator, and Core Sync as the main culprits.

    Now, I understand that these programs at times are fairly graphically intensive, but the battery life I'm getting is absymal, and…

  7. A hotkey to jump to the first typeable box in properties panel would be great

    When something is selected, being able to type cmd-6 in Indesign gets you straight to the first typeable box, and from there it's easy to tab or shift-tab around quickly.

    I can't find anything similar in Illustrator, though the properties panel in here is supposed to make life easier.

    I work with a lot of hotkeys doing quite repetitive tasks, so being able to utilise this panel in a speedy manner would really speed up my workflow.

  8. Scrubby Zoom can still be used in pixel previews

    I enabled the "Pixel Preview" function in the "View" menu, and "Scrubby Zoom" is not available under this function. Please stay in pixel preview view and still use Scrubby Zoom

  11. Make Adobe Fresco a plug in or extension for Illustrator.

    I want to use fresco but can't because i dont have a compatible machine, but it also makes no sense that drawing and painting on illustrator is difficult.

    either allow fresco on more things or make a plugin that allows illustrator to function like fresco.

  12. Start editing text hotkey

    Whenever I want to edit a text, I have to pick a Text tool an click it, or double-click it with a Selection tool. Why would I need to click a text which is already selected?

    Please, make Ctrl+Enter start editing selected text, as PS does now. If several text objects are selected, use topmost, or closest to the screen's center or cursor or give people an option to choose.

    Crop Image Function

    Sería interesante contar con controles flotantes cuando se hace uso de la herramienta de Crop Image porque uno hace uso de la misma con los márgenes activos de corte pero luego debe confirmar el recorte haciendo clic en boton ubicado en la barra de las propiedades de la la herramienta, generando así una distracción en su uso y pérdida de tiempo.

    Además la herramienta de corte todavía no es inteligente al sugerir cortes y todo el tiempo se debe volver a ajustar el recorte.

  14. improve the 'this file is currently being saved' pop up window

    The way this was implemented is stupid.
    That pop up window you get when you try to close the window while it's still saving.

    Why doesn't it automatically go away when the file has finished saving, instead of being persistent for no reason.

    Just make it work the same way as indesign with just a cancel button.

  15. Stop making new features the default.

    It's really annoying that you introduce a new feature that works in a different way to how it's been for years and then you make it the default. It seems like a bug or something's not working. Then we go online and google it and find out it's a new thing and to add insult to injury it's the default and we can't default it back to the old way, that we use a hundred times a day.
    The dynamic symbol is a great example of that. People have been complaining about it since 2017 and still the default.

  17. Turn Off Typographers Quotes - Always Off & Stay Off - Forever Off

    Hello I use Illustrator for about 85% of my work.
    Primarily I'm doing UI Design and Planning Documents - this work is 100% online there is no print work.

    Typographers Quotes are a terrible thing for this workflow. The quotes are always messed up, it's always a ton of clicking to get rid of them and you have to do it a million times over every time you make a new document.

    Also Typographers quotes means you can't rough out ideas around code in Illustrator because it a copy/paste mess.

  18. Text editing - missing keyboard shortcuts

    Some text editing shortcuts would be very welcome:
    Ctrl + End: go to the end of the text
    Ctrl + Home: go to the beginning of the text
    Ctrl + Delete: delete all characters of a word to right
    Ctrl + Backspace: delete all characters of the word to left

  19. Use of Adobe Fresco with external drawing devices like Kamvas Pro 22!!!

    Hi there, I am currently using Kamvas Pro 22 as a drawing device. This external drawing screen is connected to my laptop. It is very frustrating Adobe Fresco seems to have been developed to work with a very limited selection of devices only. Please adapt it accordingly.

  20. Checkbox to saving process for different file formats

    When we save for clients different file formats, it takes a lot of time to choose PNG and save, AI and save, EPS and save, PDF then save. Maybe a checkbox when we export what kind of file formats we want to export, and it also rewrites the earlier files.
