  1. Please add option thickness and color options for the text cursor

    Why is the cursor so thin that it can not be viewed? Make it thicker as you zoom out or add an option to change it or it's color.

  2. Make Drawing Guides Thicker

    With the onset of 4K & 5K monitors, the red dotted guides have become incredibly hard to see. I would like to suggest that the guides be made thicker or that there be a way for me to increase their thicknesses in settings so they can be seen better.

  3. Could we please bring back the option to package an illustrator file with a pdf? This was useful! and not sure why this feature was removed.

  4. These properties should now be

    1- Gradient panel > for gradient sliders > eyedropper is must be active
    2- Swatch or color panel > right click must be active > for stroke color
    3- Asset export panel > only selection out export ( fit to select art )

    These are the properties that should be. When will he come?

  5. Better performance over networks by automatically copying files locally...

    We store all our files on a network drive. Now I know that illustrator performance improves if I copy the network files locally before opening them in illustrator, but this is a major pain because I have to copy them back afterwards and if there are linked assets involved it becomes too much having to verify that all the links are pointing to the correct location.

    It would be nice if AI had an option to do this copying automatically so that all non-local files that are opened are copied first into a temporary local directory and then saved back…

  6. Transparent palettes when cursor is out from palette

    I offer to do ability to make palettes transparent when it's floating and when cursor is not on palette.
    Floating palettes allow to use Tab to switch them off without redrawing window — it's make more comfortable and fast work.
    And to don't use Tab every time I think that it will be more comfortable to made it transparent.

  7. New Document Panel - make the 'thumbnails' more descriptive.

    The New Document Panel tends bring clarity, but the 'Thumbnail', containing a triangle, a square and a circle confuses this. Every size has the same thumbnail. It would be nice if the thumbnail reflects the aspect ration of the preset it belongs to.

  8. Top Tab Ordering

    Is there a way to order the tabs at the top when multiple files are open?
    It is a real pain to reorder the tabs at the top, so that you can sequence through the pages in order of file name / date etc.
    It seems silly to have the top tabs, but not be able to have them automatically order themselves...
    (unless there is a way already)

  9. Locked files on SMB shares (macOS)

    There is a weird file-locking problem when files are opened and saved from/to smb volumes mounted on macOS. If files are saved and closed there is still a locking on the files. So colegues are not able to delete/replace this files. There is no problem if the afp-protocol is used. For this reason we had to disable smb-sharing on our server, because macOS uses smb as default if available. (Illustrator 21.1.0 - but at least from version 19 on)

  10. Support layers in patterns

    I want to be able to make patterns in layers. So if I use layers when I make a pattern, then I get a pattern that is editable in layers. It would save much time if you want to make variations.

  12. Align to artboard

    In older versions I always had the option to set "align to artboard" and it didn't reset after deselecting objects. I want it back and I want to be able to do that with a single object again, without having to select at least 2 to set that.

  13. Non-Latin Support for Numbers in UI

    I use Bengali extensively in CC, and it's frustrating that the interface doesn't understand Bengali numerals as their latin equivalents - for example if I type ৩৩ in the font size, it doesn't understand it as 33. However, I noticed that in the latest version of InDesign (13.0 x64) it does recognize & convert Bengali numerals - for example when I type ৩৩ in the font size box it converts it to 33pt. However, this still doesn't work in the current version of Illustrator (22.0.1 x64), and it would make sense to have this feature throughout the major CC products.

  14. Quick Apply in Illustrator (and all major Adobe apps)

    There’s a neat and extremely useful feature in InDesign called Quick Apply (and I wonder why is it only there). It’s a quick and convenient way to find, select and perform any desired action whose name I know but am unable to find (within myriad of menus and submenus of panel options). Please add the same feature to all major apps.

  15. An option to affect fonts that are hidden or locked with Find/Replace

    When finding lost fonts or replacing fonts can you PLEASE let AI change/replace fonts that are hidden or on a locked layer. Or at least give us an option to.

  16. Change shortcut for paste in place/paste on all artboards to match Indesign

    I'm in a workflow where I work simultaneously with Illustrator and Indesign, linking illustrator files to indesign (they could probably be integrated more!).

    However, it is probably my most irritated moments when I realize I have used cmd-alt-shift-V (shortcut to paste in place in Indesign) instead of cmd-shift-V. If you work on one artboard, it looks the same, and you don't realize your mistake until you go to another artboard and see that the pasted thing has been pasted on all artboards. And you've worked far enough to not having the possibility to undo...

  17. (Prepress Features 1) Automatic Traping

    I know illustrator has a trap option under the path finder window, but it is very basic and I am pretty sure that so many people even doesn’t know it exists.
    For us that work in prepress industry a very good, complete and editable trapping options will be great and valuable, think on that, please.

  18. Alt + Cancel Button will Reset to Default Settings

    Click Alt + Cancel button will Reset settings to their defaults - specifically in "Transform Each" command ,I use this Command on a regular Basis where it has many Fields to be set to their default every time.

  19. A tool to drag and make objects 3D

    A tool that would be used to click and drag an object into varying aspects of 3D, rather than guessing and drowning in menus with the normal 3D effects.

  20. Easier (or any) control over objects in layers, like Arrange > Send to Selected Object

    When in a layer I create an object, I need to be able to access it easily and control its order in the layer window. so my suggestion is:
    right click also allows selecting an object - like in photoshop
    A function that allows me to choose 2 objects and arrange their order - right now we need to press move back until you get to the correct order, it's very frustrating
