  3. Need a notice when opening an AI file if a linked item has changed since last open...

    It would be nice if Illustrator would notify me on open if a linked/placed item has changed since the AI file was last saved.

  5. Documents get opened in XD instead of Ai

    Can we go back to having .ai files be read by Ai? this new update is not allowing me to view .ai files they all want to be read by XD.

    AdminEgor Chistyakov (Admin, Adobe Illustrator) responded

    For some reason the OS file associations got reassigned by XD, probably because it got installed later. We can usually change these in Windows Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose Default Apps by File Type.

  7. Edit overlapped objects

    Some times when you use illustrator to edit PDF obtained from Cad programs, you get overlapped lines. It will be a good idea to have some filters to edit overlapped elements.

  9. I'm using Illustrator cc 2019. On double click my illustrator files are opening in Photoshop. I would consider this a bug .

  10. Bug at the path points

    My English is not good so I made a video to explain my problem.
    This just happened in Illustrator 2019 but it was already in 2018. Only in 2017 does it happen. This problem only happens on this computer. On other computers I use does not happen.

    How do I solve this?

  11. Convert a Gradient Mesh to a path

    If you are able to easily make a gradient mesh using a gradient mesh tool, I would think it would be equally easy to unmake a gradient mesh back into a standard closed path instead of having to use Object > Offset Path and remove all values.

  12. Let an application be associated with its files

    Let an Application take control of its files at button press. After latest update Acrobat took over for AI files and it'd be nice to just press a button and fix it in Windows 10.

    Currently manually trying to and Acrobat is fighting it.

  13. Crash Report dialogue does not accept email address with hyphen

    Crash Reporter does not comply to email format standards. My email address contains a hyphen (nils.clark-bernhard@macio.de). Crash Reporter does not accept this address. Inserting a hyphen-free email address allowed me to send a crash report.

  16. Increase MORE +++ the anchors points size. The actual option is not ENOUGH Is very difficult to work..

    The actual size options seems a joke, I work with 3ds max, and there you can select very easy the vectors points, in illustrator it is a Nightmare.

  18. export files from draw/ipad to illustrator/imac of a different account to allow collaboration

    I used to be able to copy drawings using the clipboard from my account to an iMac with a different account, but I am no longer able to do that and there is no other pathway to transfer the files.

    Allow the option to disable FILE MENU...OPEN RECENT FILES

    When a file server is mounted on the Macintosh desktop, it will slow down Illustrator considerably. Especially one on a wide area network.

  20. Allow custom color profiles to be saved to the CC libraries

    Creating CutContour swatch and Color Process colors (because Pantone+ colors are not available) lose their values once saved to CC libraries.
