1. Make Appearance work for Type objects

   More specifically, with type objects, the Appearance palette just says 'Characters', without reflecting the current stroke and fill state of the object. New stroke and fill have to be added to make the Appearance palette useful.

2. Easier way to find object in large file with small blue bar above layers panel

   Working in larger files, it's hard to find the exact object selected. What if there was a blue bar that highlighted which way to scroll? (top of the layers panel scroll up, bottom of the layers panel scroll down) to find it rather than looking for the blue box next to the object's layer? When you click on the blue bar, it takes you directly to the selected object. If multiple objects are selected, you could keep clicking the button to go to the next object down the list.

   I've attached a photoshoped mockup of what I am trying to request, thoughts??

3. Placed psd layer comps keep their visibility regardless of color space(s)

   Make layer comp visibility overrides work regardless of color space. When placing layer comps from PSD, the color spaces for both documents need to be the same in order for the layer comp visibility overrides to be sticky in AI. If one is CMYK and the other is RGB, and the layer comps are changed, the placed comps do not keep their original comp visibility overrides.

4. Touch workspace for desktop Wacom Cintiq

   I use illustrator on desktop PC with a Wacom Cintiq 16. I am baffled as to why the touch workspace is not available. I have been informed it is only available on Surface but I use a stylus exclusively on desktop and the touch optimised workspace would be ideal. I regularly switch from desktop to iPad , I would like there to be workflow continuity.

6. Layers panel dimensions dynamically resize, or have tools cling to bottom of layers list

   When I open a layer, the layer list is quite long so I need a tall panel. However when they're collapsed it's a much shorter list and suddenly the trashcan button is super far away from where I'm working in the layers. It would be nice if the panel automatically resized to keep the toolbar near the list, or otherwise have the toolbar cling to the bottom of the layers list so it's easily accessible when working in that panel. The dynamic resizing would also be helpful when you have the panel sized to be shorter, and open a layer, so that they panel expands to accomodate the newly shown layers, or at least more of the list.

   As the Photoshop has a banana, we want mascot assistant, like the Microsoft clippy. It would work like this: when you are idle in the illustrator with new blank document it would pop up suggesting random design prompts like: "hey why won't you design the logo for the fish food' or "make a brand for the fruit vendor'

10. Highlight an anchor point used as a key object

    Keying an anchor point is a lesser known option for aligning and distributing.

    Clicking an object in a selection to key it is a thing that can be learnt by a chance (that is how I learned it myself), but using the latest selected point as a key is not a behaviour that is easily noticed.

    The change of the mode is marked only via the small icon in the corner of Align panel, and nothing else on the artboard tells about it — compare this to the fat edge a key object uses.

    Can you try to make a key point somewhat more visible?

11. Workspace layout seems to constantly change over time. Keep it more fluent and natural

    I can arrange workspaces, rearrange them, add new ones, remove some and so on and on and on. My issue is that somehow, the tools and panels I want are never at hand when I need them.

    It's so subtle that I can't put my finger on the exact issue. But it's suddenly occurred to me that as far as I can remember, I'm always rearranging the workspace layout in Illustrator to get the tools I need, but I don't have this issue in other Adobe apps. I've been using Illustrator as my core graphic design tool for around 8/9 years.

    This has slowly been dawning on me. I think there's a lot of things going on here.

    • Issue: For Premiere Pro I can sync workspaces to my account. I presumed this is standard behaviour for all Adobe apps. However I have always used the same account and I have several times over the years set up custom workspaces in Illy. But I've just looked now and I can't see any - I don't know when they disappeared or why but it's happened.

    • Solution: synchronise workspaces to my Adobe account. Keep them there regardless of Illustrator version. Sync to all computers using my account.

    • Issue: Popups. In more recent years, I seem to get popups appear about once a week about something that I'm not at all interested in, usually some irrelvant new feature. I open Illustrator to work, not to play around with the latest features.

    • Solution: please get rid of these popups and tutorials unless I ask for them. The things I do in Illy, I know how to do. If I don't know a feature, I probably don't use it.

    • Issue: Sometimes the workspace opens on the same one as last time when I open Illustrator. Sometimes it doesn't. Not sure what the expected behaviour is here, but usually it seems to open on "Essentials". Every time, I switch to "Essentials Classic" and then add any other panels I need. Unless I have a custom workspace that hasn't disappeared yet.

    • Solution: every time I open Illustrator, switch to the last workspace I was using.

    • Issue: Over time as UI design changes, the workspaces change too. I get it, you add more features, you play around with the default workspaces. But please don't make it affect me.

    • Solution: Add more features if you like but don't push them out to my workspaces unless I want them. Ask me if I want to switch / update workspaces.

    • Issue: Workspaces always seem to be resetting and panels I add to my workspace disappear next time I open Illy.

    • Solution: Auto save changes to workspaces as they're made. Even default workspaces, just save the changes.

    That's just a few things that are obvious to me. But the whole workspace just seems to fluctuate often, and I just want to get the tools up that I use and keep them handy instead of rebuilding my workspace every time I open Illustrator.

12. Select similar colors (with a tolerance slider) so you can round up and streamline elements in a messy document

    This is basically a tolerance slider added to Select>Same>Fill Color. It would just allow you to cast a wider net to quickly select colors and convert them to a single global color. It's very hard to track down a color that's 1% off from the others in a complex file otherwise. It could also help process multi-color graphics into a limited color palette more efficiently

13. Bring back selection tool shapes and straight lasso

    Taking these selection tools away has slowed down my work....I REGRET updating!

    I used to be able to use the box selection tool to make square and rectangle shaped edits, there was a circle and pointed selection tool AND there was a straight line lasso WHY DID YOU REMOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The tools you are describing exist in Photoshop. There were never tools like these in Illustrator, you must be confusing these two apps together.

    However, I think Ai could benefit from having circular marquee and polygonal lasso, so please upvote this, if you want to see them developed.

14. Better implementation of Actions

    Do a better implementation of Actions. More like Photoshop.

    Some of the menu itens are not recorded in Actions, and others even with the Insert Menu item, still won't record the custom settings of it, and everytime you play that action, it will bring default values to it and open context menu to you to reenter parameters.
    This must be implemented correctly, direclty with the record and not that patch "Insert Menu Item" option that exist today.
    You should only hit record, do the menu options (even the Effects ones), and it must record it with all custom config you do, giving the option to edit the options on the action panel, but when you press play for that action, it should perform altomaticaly every step without interruptions (except when you choose it to).

    Please, make a proper full Action implementation in Illustrator.

15. Toggle Radii in Ellipse Properties

    When editing Ellipse Properties in the transform palette, it's be great to be able to turn off the radii segments in the ellipse, enabling a live shape which is an arc. At the moment you are limited to filled/joined sections.

16. Color Picker digits round up

    Hi, I like Illustrator for many reasons, but I find one little thing is annoying. So often I need to prepare the design files for my printer. And because the color picker doesn't have the feature of auto rounding up the digits, the color I used always has decimals, instead of a rounded up number in CMYK mode. It is not easy for the printer to process these color data. I have to round up each color manually, which is time-consuming and I might miss some elements. So is it possible to have the color picker have an option of rounding up digital for the color it picked up? And in the Appearance panel, the color digits are always not the same as the color picker panels show, which has the decimal digits.

17. Clipping path in JPEG image file works in placement

    A JPEG file can include clipping path. This clipping path works well when placed in InDesign. However, Illustrator ignores this clipping path.

    If clipping path in JPEG works in placement, the user will be more creative.

18. Eyedropper tool in Recolor Artwork dialog is not available

    In the Recolor Artwork panel, there is no eyedropper tool at the top. There is only the word "Reset". Why is this happening?

19. Exporting files - range settings resetting for different file types

    Is it possible for the page 'range' to reset when exporting different file types? It's really frustrating when I've been exporting a few single pages to jpeg for example, and then when exporting a PDF of the document it retains the page range. It's a small issue, but is pretty annoying!

    左右（上下）最大サイズに位置するオブジェクトが基準となり、意図した整列が出来ません。
    例えば「水平方向左に分布」では各オブジェクト左位置を基準とした整列が望ましいと思います。
