  1. 'Reverse Order' option for Transform Effect

When you set several copies in Transform effect, Illustrator makes them stack under original art, 'going backwards'. Sometimes it's better to have an opposite behaviour, with copies stacking up, 'towards' viewer.

Please add this checkbox near 'Copies" field.

  2. How to make Adobe software Ultimate Faster than ever ??????????!!!!- Solution is given below :

One more important thing is SPEED and Performance of each Adobe software should be intensively Faster than ever. this mean programming language that are slowing down adobe software performance sholud be replace all codes with a very fast execution able programming language to speed up the intensive power and performance as all 3D software does like MAYA, CENEMA 4D etc....

In that case, PYTHON can be the first choice ! Because Most of the 3d SOFTWARE are Python based and Powerful all software like google search engine uses python. Also Some powerful OS is also Python based as you know…

  4. Ignore Groups and Clipping Masks

I lost about a Year of My Life double-clicking on objects within a group, inside of clipping masks. A less repetitive and MUCH faster way would be an option to "Ignore Groups and Clipping Masks" (i.e holding some key while clicking).

The option would temporarily (select-wise) treat grouped and clipped objects as normal objects, allowing direct click on an object through a clipping mask and ignoring groups. An "If you can see it, you can click on it!" approach for instant color and other adjustments.

This alone would speed up the workflow and, combined with wireframe view, it would be…

  7. AUTO NUMBER LAYERS?

As a graphic designer I often work with illustrator files that have thousands of layers, these layers are very well organized in folders, I would like to suggest that illustrator add a function allowing users like me to auto number every layer. The layer number would be visible on each layer . This would let me quickly identify a layer with a specific number and then return to that layer later if I want to read manipulate the artwork there. It would also be great if I could, I.e. right click layer X X X and asked to move it…

  8. CorelDRAW-like node behavior: intuitive select/deselect, maintain shape when deleting a node, two-sided handles.

Years ago, the most painful switch from CorelDRAW (10) to Illustrator (5.5, then CC) was the bezier drawing behavior. I have no experience with newer versions of CorelDRAW, but I'm assuming they behave similarly to v10.
    1. CorelDRAW required fewer clicks to select, manipulate and deselect nodes and the lines they live on. Also, the switch between the normal and direct selection tools (white and black arrows in AI) could be done without returning to the tools menu.
    2. When a node was deleted in CorelDRAW, the software "did the math" and maintained the overall shape (when possible). That's very…

  10. Snapping unexpectedly disabled when drawing to an Artboard edge

When using the rectangle tool or other drawing tools, you can snap to the edge of an artboard, but you cannot snap to grid lines that intersect with the artboard edge.

This makes things complicated if you are designing relative to the artboard all the time with Snap to Grid or Snap to Pixel enabled. I have to workaround it, snapping inside or outside the artboard edge first, then moving the point an exact increment to match where the artboard edge and grid line intersect.

Notice that in my screen recording, this happens even at the beginning when I first…

  11. Add Distribute Spacing in Control and Properties panels

Distribute Spacing is for me the most used alignment option. Unfortunately, it doesn't show in the Control panel, so I always have to use the full alignment panel, just to use this one button while all the other alignment options are right at hand at the top of the screen. It would be great if it would be added there - maybe optionally.

  12. Converting CAD into Illustrator

Where I work, we often have to open CAD files into the Illustrator program. We would like to be able to use the existing lines that are presented in a CAD drawing, but when we open them, they are always in little "line segments," rather than full, complete Illustrator lines.

The issue with this is that it slows down the computer, and we are ultimately unable to use the CAD file. Nothing converts into actual "shapes" that we can use, so we end up flattening the image and having to draw over it from scratch to get the image we…

  13. Change of pixel dimension

When you want to change from resolution 800×480 to 1024×600, there is a slight difference in pixel dimension to retain circle shaped objects. So idea is that you are able to change pixel dimension and convert some files, instead of drawing new ones. For example-you have a circled object in some .ai file, where you have square pixels. If AI would allow to change pixel shape to rectangular, like 0,14 mm height and 0,15 mm width, or 0,148 mm,..., then it would fasten up things of making same graphic for different screen resolution with tool of pixel dimensions, instead of…

  14. Sign in concomitantly with different accounts

Please, Adobe, remember that what you think is your "user" takes many forms. Please, also remember that we are pulled and pushed by all competing platforms that try desperately to create hindrances in the pursuit of their own ecosystem.
We may need to have two different accounts running on the same computer due to legacy files - programmed obsolescence at it's best, hopefully soon unethical.
We may need to have two different accounts running on the same computer because of ethical issues (personal professional use vs. company's professional use). Some of us designers / photographers work on location environments, and…

  15. Create outlines while the layer is inside a clipping mask

I'm forced to move text layers outside of a clipping mask before I can create outlines and then move them back. A small inconvenience but every small thing counts when designing! Thanks :)

  16. I am trying to display on Illustrator the diagraming of sentences. Here is an example: Constructing that image requires typing on a pat

See attached file with a screen shot of what "Type on a path" might accomplish if the path were to be made visible on a project for diagramming sentences.

I think it's a very simple thing to do for you guys: I'd really like to see the "align to" button (artboard or selection) added to the align-window.
Actually surprised to see it's not..

  18. Exporting TIF with transparency

Unless I've gone completely mad, I could swear there used to be the option to Export a file to TIF with transparency (a checkbox in the export settings). This no longer appears as an option. How does one export a transparent TIF these days??
