  1. Play saved Action in error

    Play saved Action in error, a warning message said "Can't save the illustration", the Action is export jpg to desktop.

  2. Adjust the length of the extremitys to avoid outline vectorization

    Avoid contour crossing without vectorizing the paths and losing my paths (if I ever want to reshape my shape)

    It would be nice if custom created brushes were saved automatically so that users do not have to save them after they have created them.

  4. Customisable touch workspace.

    Adobe, could we please have a customisable touch workspace? The other workspaces can be altered, why not this one?
    It could be a cool idea to be able to add the delete, undo and redo buttons to the sidebar menu in the classic workspace.

  5. アンカーポイント削除時の挙動

    例えば添付のような円の向かって左のアンカーポイントを削除すると、当然ながら添付Aのようになりますが、

    Bのように、アンカーポイントは削除したいけれど形状はなるべく最初の状態をキープしてほしい

    場面がたくさんあります。

    他のベクター系のアプリケーションでは可能だったりするので、技術的に難しいことでは

    ないと思うのですがこの挙動を採用することはできないんでしょうか。

    何かやり方があったりするんですかね？

    どちらか選べると大変ありがたいのですが。

    またアンカーポイントを、形状は極力キープしたままライン上を移動できるようになると作業効率は

    格段に上がると思うのですが。

  6. Allow importing of PDF's not from Adobe Acrobat and preserve text

    I import PDF files into Illustrator every day from programs like AutoCAD & Revit, and every single time, it tells me that Illustrator can't read the text in the font Arial, and that it must substitute it. This turns it into squares that are all giberish. The only workaround is to outline text in Acrobat before importing. Please learn that people are using programs outside the Adobe environment (for which there is no substitute by Adobe) and we need these BASIC capabilities.

  7. a way to nest objects on art board for sign makers

    Idea: Take multiple objects, such as multiple copies of a logo or elements and nesting them within the artboard and a feature to say how much space you want between each object.

    Reason: When it comes to signs or sending a print job to a plotter. Sign makers want to maximize the number of objects on a vinyl. Sure we can manually move objects or even use the distribute tool. but this takes to long and sometimes when selecting multiple objects you can not use the distribution tool to distribute both vertical and horizontal at the same time or objects…

  8. Direct selection tool

    Can you please put the selection tool back next to the direct selection tool instead of making it a hidden tool. It's very annoying having to pull it out to have both tools.

  9. Keep color values when applying freeform gradients

    When applying a freeform gradient, Illustrator picks up colors from everywhere around the selected artwork, also the selected object itself. It would be extremely helpful if it could reliably keep the exact color values the object has, so you don't need to adjust it.

  10. Rich Tool Tips in Illustrator

    currently, photoshop has a feature where the user can opt for rich tools tips. Why doesn't illustrator have the same feature??

  11. Update is way too advanced

    Every single update should not change the basic fundamental functions of AI.
    I am someone who is learning and having to relearn when just getting the hang of how to use this app comfortably really irks me.
    In addition, i have an uncountable amount of talented peers who use this software and they do not even understand how to work with many of the updates.

    A huge example i can give:
    Why can you not drag a photo to make it smaller or larger anymore?

    Also, why can the user not add FX to fonts and see what it does…

  12. Corrupted files

    I made numerous Adobe Illustrator files (featuring line drawings of clothing) that got corrupted. I had spent a few hours creating my drawings with the Adobe Illustrator software (saving copies along the way) but when I went to open the files to continue working on them they had all corrupted; leaving me with blank documents only showing a rectangular selection box. (Please find two examples attached.)
    Are you able to fix this and/or tell me how to retrieve my files?

    We can search within the Swatches panel, can that be carried over to the Symbols panel?

  14. convert low res images to high res

    I'd like an option to convert a low res image eg. 72 dpi which can be converted to a high res image 300 dpi for printing in one click.

    Currently, you would have to redraw the image to create a higher resolution. image for printing which can be time-consuming. People are always giving you a web resolution (72 dpi) and wanting you to create print documents using it. This would be a huge technological win for all designers everywhere.

  15. Bounding Box Preview Bounds

    CC 23.01 Mac High Sierra

    When a single object is selected, Preview Bounds is on, the Bounding Box does not reflect the Preview Bounds - it is the same as if Preview Bounds is off.

    When selecting multiple objects it works as it should

  17. Rename 'Group Selection Tool' to Path Selection Tool

    Confusing name - the Group Selection tool, ignores groups - it selects a path, even when part of a group.
    Should be name 'Path Selection Tool'

  18. シンボル編集モードでのレイヤーオプションの保存がされない

    シンボルを作成後、配置されたシンボルをダブルクリックしてシンボル編集モードにし、レイヤーオプションのカラー（パスを選択したときに表示される色）を変更する。
    シンボル編集モードを一旦終了し、再度編集モードに入ると、変更状態が保存されていない。
    シンボル編集時にパスの選択時のカラーが見にくい場合、編集モードに入るたびにカラーを編集しなければいけない。

  19. Make conical gradient

    Don't tell me about mesh trick, it has it's limits and surely is not that easy to use.
    Just make Conical type gradient from the box.

  20. Eraser tool doesn't work in pattern mode!

    In pattern mode I can not use eraser tool, it is very useful if it works.
