  1. Add Keyboard Shortcut to Switch Gradient Color Stop

    Hi

    if add a keyboard shortcut to the gradient slider to switch color stops instead of mouse clicks will increase the workflow

  3. 3D Extrude & Bevel shouldn't have a depth and rotation by default

    I think it's annoying that every object that I want to apply a 3d effect to already has a 50 pt extrude depth and axis rotation by default + preview option checked.
    Sometimes it takes forever to render the preview for something I don't even want, but the preview is checked by default so it immidiatly starts rendering when I open the effect window.
    Would be great to open the Extrude & Bevel window with zeros in every field, saves a lot of time, especially when working with complex objects.

  5. About Adobe Illustrator Font Microscopic

    The Adobe technician I was IMing asked me to go to "About Adobe Illustrator" to read the version I was using and the font was 2pt font. It will not increase using the "Ctrl +" option either. Please save us from needing thicker glasses and make it an 8 pt font at least.

  6. An option for Release to Layers to create top-level layers

    The Release to Layers always generate layers inside LAYER.
    How about create an option that generate this layers OUTSIDE main layer and delete the last empty layer after remove the layers with objects to outside.
    I always do this process to send layers for after effects.
    PLUS > Add TAB options like photoshop to rename layers faster OR create a rename tool to do this task easier.
    Layer1 to Ball01
    Layer2 to Ball02
    Layer3 to Ball03
    Layer4 to Ball04
    Layer5 to Ball05...

  7. Repositionable register targets in Separations

    Not exactly a new idea. This used to be a feature back in Illustrator 3. Printers' marks used to be able to be added and deleted at will

    What about an "Align tool", click and hold an align-button to lock it in. Then click an object to select i. The object will align to the next object you click, and both object align to the next object you click, and so on...

  10. warp tool - bloat tool

    I have several suggestions on this tool :
    1 - warp tool and bloat tool should have the same sensitivity. Now, with the same intensity they react extremly differently. I often have to open the dialog box, which is laborious so :
    2 - Find a way to adjust the tool without opening the dialog box,
    ALt + click = change the size
    Alt + Shift + click = change the size proportionaly
    Alt + Ctrl + click = change the intensity and voilà!
    3 - Is there a way to keep my tool setting, because it is very laborious…

    Please ADOBE, explain to us the benefit and implication of the two/three instruction set types.
    How does this help multiple vector artworks and are they both implemented?

  12. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE re-establish the the ability to drag over dimensions to change them!!!!

    I've been dragging over the top of dimensions to change them for years, I'm speaking about artboards specifically. Now with the latest release of IL I have to triple click or place a curser and either backspace or select over the top with my keyboard. It's REALLY ANNOYING and disruptive to my workflow. I know it's a simple thing, but when you've been working a certain way for years a slight change like that can cause all sorts of mistakes in projects.

  13. Export individual artboard for PDF and images.

    Can you make the export individual or range artboards for pdf and images? it would be very helpful for people who doesn’t want to export all of their artboards.

  14. Add CSS color styling option to OpenType-SVG specification, so font colors may be altered in Illustrator

    Currently, OpenType-SVG color fonts come with pre-defined colors.

    To provide glyphs in different shades, additional stylistic sets need to be added to the font, bloating it tremendously.

    I propose to add the ability to OpenType-SVG to have certain colors of a glyph being overwritten by the application (e.g. Illustrator), so text colors can be applied to a range of glyphs just like it's done with standard monochrome glyphs.

    To do so, OpenType-SVG should be able to export a set of color reference names, referenced within the glyph's SVG. An application may then assign alternate colors to those color references, so…

  15. Save Color Profiles by Default

    By default, the color profiles I assign to the file should be saved.

    There have been several times I have assigned a color profile to my Illustrator file, saved it as a PDF, and the printed PDF were the wrong colors because Illustrator didn't include the assigned profile. I then had to reopen my file, manually tell Illustrator to include all color profiles when saving, and then reprint.

    It is ridiculous that the file doesn't save assigned profiles by default.

  16. Scale the graphs. SCALE THE GRAPHS. SCALE THE GRAPHS. SCALE THE GRAPHS.

    WHY CAN'T WE SCALE GRAPHS. THIS IS SO BASIC. IS ADOBE BASIC? STOP BEING BASIC. SCALE THE GRAPHS.

    This is a critical functionality for infographics and you've all but left it as something a child would have shown at an Adobe Max SNEAKS reveal with it's current level of development in comparison to the level the rest of the entire OS has reached.

  17. Align to Key Object using Direct Select

    Double clicking on an object while having direct selection active does not cause the object to become key object. This is possible only when selection tool is active

    Recommendation: allow double clicking to select key object while under direct selection tool

  19. Screenshot without the high light going off when i drag my curser over the screen!

    I need a clean screenshot. I need the screenshot without the high light going off when I drag my cursor over the screen! Yes. I try using preference and turn off the highlights. It didn't work. It would be great if you have a clear button that states the "SHUT OFF ALL HIGH LIGHTS INFO" button on the preference page.

  20. Take Layer Style out from Opacity and add hover preview

    Layer style dropdown is hidden under Opacity. This is not intuitive. Request moving it to the top level of the Properties UI.

    Hovering over Layer Style name does not give a preview unlike in Photoshop.
