  1. Ability to tag anchor points as PRIORITY anchor points.

    When snapping objects together it is often the case that lots of other things want to put themselves forward as the thing that wants to grab your snapping choice. If I could create shapes (for example) and select an anchor point and mark it as a priority anchor, it would override other suggestions. That way I can quickly and accurately snap one object to another with no ambiguity.

  2. Multiple Artboards Selection for deletion

    Since we dont have the multiple artboard seletion for (Deletion,Editing),Every time user has to select on the single Artboard and have to do the changes, that consumes more time if the artboards are more.

    In easier terms ,Its hard to select everytime the artboards and to move it...

  3. Cannot group Text objects with right-click

    Illustrator CC2018 (22.1)
    Windows 10 and Mac OSX High Sierra 10.13.3

    When I select two or more Text objects (point, area, etc.), I cannot group them using right-click (it works

    It works with other objects, or with Text and other objects, but not when all my selections are only Text objects.

    Once grouped (with CMD-G for example), it is possible to ungroup them with right-click, though.

  4. Recent updates have made working with type more difficult

    Using type in illustrator used to be a breeze. Now it seems you need near pixel-perfect accuracy to highlight or to select the type box. Often now you will just end up creating a new type box when trying to highlight type already present. Honestly, it worked great before whatever update changed this and now it's somewhat irritating to use. It's not a major issue really, but sometimes the old 'if it isn't broken, don't fix it' advice should be heeded.

  6. Cycle transparency modes with middle mousewheel

    In the transparency panel (upon mouse-hover), cycle through transparency modes (Multiply, overlay, etc) with middle mouse wheel scrolling.

    Similar to the wheel on "The Price Is Right."

    Would be even cooler to preview all transparency modes at once within a thumbnail window.

  7. Allow Library text assets to save style and insert it with or without formatting

    v22.1, Windows, 64bit

    When I try to add text with a modified appearance to the library I get;

    "Only basic appearances are supported for Text in Libraries. Advanced appearances have been dropped to add text to the current Library."

    Or; "Couldn't save text asset having style. Remove the styles and try again”.

    Seriously – no text styles in the library now? face palm

    Ok, so 'Text library asset' is a thing now… whatever it’s supposed to be for, it’s braking basic library functionality.

  8. When you draw a rope knot using the pen tool it will keep track of first to last click. Using appearance pallet apply 2 strokes

    ability to draw a rope knot using the pen tool it will keep track first to last click not allowing inner color overlapping when using appearance pallet and applying 2 strokes to the path.

  9. Properties Panel, values are not selected by clicking on the symbol in front of their field

    If I click on a symbol in a panel for a property like W or H or X or Y the current value gets selected. This does not work in the Properties panel, nothing gets selected and I have to double click inside the property field to select it.
    It slows down and is not consistent with the way it has worked for years.

  11. Add Transparency Preset Option on Script

    Transparency Preset like [Medium Resolution] and [High Resolution] are able to be setted on Normal Illustrator Dialogue, but it is not able to setted on Scripting.

    My company and job is hoping this feature added badly…

  12. composing font for Chinese font

    I have checked and verified at my end that this composition is not fully supported in Illustrator yet and only available for Japanese fonts.
    I hope that would fully supported in Illustrator available for Chinese fonts.

  13. Importing color codes

    It would be great if we could import hex codes (or rgb etc.) as a large batch-- it would really speed up workflow. If instead of manually having to type in 20+ color codes (with the possibility of a mistake), I could import a list of them, that would be awesome!

  14. Aligned "Dashed Line": PLEASE enable for "Rounded Rectangle".

    The "Dashed Line" has an optional button that "Aligns dashes to corners and path ends, adjusting lengths to fit." for the "Rectangle Tool" (and the Star Tool, and the Polygon tool), but it doesn't work on the "Rounded Rectangle"! Why?

    Please make the "Aligns dashes to corners and path ends, adjusting lengths to fit." work for Rounded Rectangles, PLEASE.

  15. Adding Background Color to Pattern Options

    When creating seamless pattern it would be very helpful to have the ability to select a background color in the Pattern Options palette. Especially for hex shape, if I create a separate background shape the overlapping doesn't always work especially for Hex. I use the Appearance palette as a workaround or manually add a background color/shape. Please see screenshot for reference. Thank you!

    You know what would be awesome? When you click on any of the marque tools (for the square, cirlce, rounded rectangle, or polygon) if you could switch the measurements that you type in.

  19. Create option to change order & position in which layers are duplicated or copy/pasted in the layers panel

    Layer organization is extremely important to my work. I'm constantly duplicating layers using the select + alt feature, and constantly having to re-order layers because they automatically get placed above the layer I'm working on. I would like the option to make my duplicated layers go immediately below the layer I'm working on.

    I would also like the option for copy/pasted layers to go immediately above/below the original layer, or all the way at the bottom.

    I spoke to an Adobe rep on chat and they said this isn't currently possible.

  20. Bring back spacebar 'move' functionality when 'alt/option' is pressed (to access Anchor Point tool) while using Pen Tool

    I realize this is a very specific request for a small piece of functionality that was probably never very popular, but it's part of a workflow I got used to using for years, and since upgrading to CC, it no longer works.

    When creating a new path with the Pen tool, using the spacebar enables you to move the anchor point you've just created (before you release the click). Also, the Anchor Point tool allows you to do the same when you click on a point and drag the handles out.

    My issue is that the Anchor Point tool doesn't…
