I hope CS5.6 sale
私はＣＳ３使用時の機能要望をいくつか取り入れて戴いたＣＳ５．５ユーザーです。
ＣＣは経済的負担が大きいので使っていません。
Ｗｉｎ１０にＣＳ５．５を入れましたが、特に問題なく使えています。
ＣＣになってからデザイン業界を除く個人ユーザーが更新しなくなり、
古いバージョンのまま使っているユーザーが多いのは認識されているはずです。
画面デザイン的に繫がりがあるのがＣＳ５．５までで、
ＣＳ６からは大きく変更になりました。
ＯＳが実質Ｗｉｎ１０だけになり、動作環境の面でバージョンアップを迫られているユーザーが多いはずですが、
それでもＣＣは無理と考える人が大多数です。
バージョンアップしたいユーザーが受け入れやすいＣＳ５．５をベースに、
パッケージ（売り切り）版を再販して貰えば、需要がある事は明らかです。
ここで、最低２つの機能改善を行い、ＣＳ５．６としてリリースしてはどうでしょう。
機能改善は、
１．描画編集中などにナビゲーター画面が逐一全画面更新され、データが重いとスマートガイドやコピー＆ペーストなどのキー動作が不安定になる。長い文字の入力編集中は特に酷い。これを極端な話、ナビゲータ画面に付けた「更新」ボタンを押すまで画面更新しなくていいようにする。
２．現状、文字の縁取りが文字の塗りの上になっているが、文字の塗りの下に設定できるようにする。これで一々「文字を全てコピー」「背面ペースト」「縁取り設定」をやらずに済む事になり、データが軽くなり、修正も楽になる。なぜ今までこれが出来ないのか不思議と思える基本的な機能です。1 vote -
An option so anchor points within a user specified proximity of the selected anchor point will move relative to it.
So many times have I found a need for an option like this. An option where you would be able to move an anchor point, and the surrounding points would move relative to it.
Some complex vector images with lots of anchor points can be hard to reshape, whereas, instead of moving every single anchor point to expand a section or redoing it, you would select a single point, and the surrounding points would move relative to it's position.

Don't tell me about mesh trick, it has it's limits and surely is not that easy to use.

New symbol info window should retain properties of previously created symbol
When creating a new symbol, it should remember not only the export type, but the symbol type and registration as well, instead of having it default to dynamic-center every time. Usually when creating symbols, they are of the same type as the last. This is how Flash handled symbols way back in the day and it was an invaluable time saver for projects containing dozens of clips (such as site plan artwork).

Fix it so that it isn't so laggy and so that keyboard shortcuts work (on a Mac)
Fix Illustrator so that on a Mac the performance isn't so slow and laggy that I can count to 13 before menus drop down, and I end redoing so many things because the lag caused me to overclock. Keyboard shortcuts don't work either, 99% of the time. Used to be great software, but now it is almost unusable. It's lack of performance ate up at last 65% of my work time. It takes hours now because of lag time to do something that would have taken 30 minutes in vision 2018 and earlier. I have no lag or performance issues…

Change a group of vector's stroke size relative to each other, thicker or thinner, at the same time. Like Word's font up & font down button
Change a group of vectors' stroke size relative to each other, thicker or thinner, at the same time. Like Word's font up & font down button.
Right now it's frustrating when you transform size down a drawing with multiple stroke sizes. The strokes are then too thick. But if you have multiple stroke widths, there is no way to reduce them in size relative to each other so the drawing keeps the same look.

Allow to sort swatches by Hue, Saturation, Luminosity and other values
Right now AI allow to globally sort swatches by name and kind. It is not enough though.
1. I need to sort each group in it's own way (automatically) — thefeore I need context menu to work with color groups with needed options
2. I need more sorting parameters
3. I need each group to remember sorting and have a checkmark near it in said context menus
I guess it could also be tucked in palette menu, but I can't give you a way to keep compatibility with current global sorting behavior.

Melhoramento na ferramenta Seleção Direta para demarcadores, segmentos e pontos de ancoragem
Gostaria de solicitar algumas ideias para deixar mais dinâmico os trabalhos de tratamento vetorial. A ideia seria juntar algumas ferramentas em apenas uma, ou simplesmente atribuir mais funções na ferramenta de "Seleção Direta" (principalmente)
• Utilizar na ferramenta de "Seleção Direta" um Duplo Click para transformar o segmento de um demarcador selecionado em uma reta e, novamente com um duplo click e mantendo segurado, arrastaria para transformar o segmento em uma curva novamente.
• Com uma tecla de comando precionada, ela poderia adicionar ou excluir pontos de ancoragem, isso deixaria o trabalho mais rápido, mesmo utilizando as teclas de atalho…

Precision for Wacom in illustrator is absurdly painful! Can't select nodes! This has been a bug for ages!
Improve Wacom support! Using even the latest wacom intuos pro it's impossible to select a node when drawing as it expects you to hit the exact pixel... Who can do that!!!!!

Auto live paint
I very often colour linework using live paint. This is a great tool but if I could automatically colour every shape it would save a lot of time. At the moment I have to manually click every area I want to fill. Could this be done with one click? Many thanks.
4 votesYes, there is a way to fill many areas at once.
A double-click on a fill (or a stroke) should apply the currently chosen color to all sections that has this color (unless these are not separated with strokes).
A triple-click will change the color of all sections of the same color, no matter if these are separated or not.
Same applies to Live Paint Selection Tool.

Add Folders in Layers panel
Given that Photoshop can group layers into folders, Illustrator should have the same capacity to bring the experience closer together.
It would allow for greater flexibility when editing artwork.

Adding overprint toggles in the Separations Preview window
Currently, the overprint toggles are only in the "Attributes" panel but the overprint preview toggle is in the Separations Preview panel. Including overprint toggles in the Separations Preview panel allows the user to see the overprints in the file and toggle off/on any visible overprints prior to exporting/printing. This would save on workspace real estate by choosing to exclude the Attributes panel solely for overprint toggles.

Pattern brush can be created while viewing preview as in pattern edit mode.
Creating tiles and checking whether the seams are aligned is hard work.
I think that it is convenient to have a function that can create a pattern brush while watching the preview as in the pattern edit mode.
It seems that the efficiency of pattern brush creation will be greatly increased.(Translated to Japanese)

Change case in right click
Change case short cut should be on right click, when we working with magazine, book then it hard to go to type tool and select change case, but if this feature add then it easy to use, thanks

Allow Eyedropper tool to copy/apply different things
Guys, the Eyedropper is an incredibly important tool, whether or not it's "****" by virtue of its age. You haven't updated it in, what, decades? Among the things that it is incapable of copying are:
- multiple strokes
- stroke profiles
- transparency
- blend modes
- graphic styles
Those are extremely common usages/needs. And that's off the top of my head, I'm sure there are many more. Obviously there's no reason this tool shouldn't be able to copy these things! Almost every aesthetic effect that gets added to AI should be reflected in that tool's pickup abilities. Please make this happen already.
1 voteThe Eyedropper tool can work in two modes: basic and extended: basic picks/applies only colors and text. extended allows you operate chosen appearance attributes.
If you open the tool’s options (by doube-clicking the tool button or hitting Enter while it’s picked), you’ll see that you can check/uncheck two top ‘Appearance’ options and customize attributes to be processed.
This is not intuitive, but very powerful once you get the concept.

Make an option to disable auto-selection of artboards, when clicked inside
AI now selects artboard whenever mouse is clicked within in (with any tool). While it's a great general behaviour, I'd like to be able to disable it.
I have to work with overlapping artboards (which, by the way, sometimes prevent AI from correctly selecting the artboard clicked—it depends on artboards' order). When object is copied, AI remembers it's coordinates. Then, when I go to the object I need to place my copied art over and press Ctrl+F, AI pastes the object in the same coordinates. Please add a user preference to turn off "font cycling." There are times this simply isn't needed.
