Add custom AI templates to the CC library
Add custom AI templates to the CC library. The functionality is already programed for Adobe Stock. Allow the user to add custom templates to their libraries. Enable the bulk import of .ait files.
I noticed on another thread requesting Cloud files to show in libraries menu. That or create another menu that is for the files similar to how the libraries function. Whatever is easier.

Please make color control a **** of a lot more intuitive

I am familiar with InDesign and Photoshop. I am really trying to use illustrator on a project. I am fairly new to illustrator and am using the latest version as of 10/30/2018. I have to say the way you use and set colors in Indesign is either horribly broken (i.e., Bug) or it is not at all intuitive or similar to other Adobe tools. Select inside marquee window
Create a toggle-able feature like the one found in many CAD programs:
Select ONLY the objects ENTIRELY inside the selection window marquee via the following methods:
1. hold Shift+drag
2. Dragging left-to-right enables "select inside", dragging right-to-left enables "select touching" (as per most CAD programs)80 votesExcited to share that the requested functionality is now available in the public builds starting from V 28.3.0.
WIth the new Enclosed Mode, you can now select ONLY those objects which are completely INSIDE the marquee.
To activate the Enclosed Mode, just press 'E' ONCE after you start doing the marquee with the Normal Selection Tool or Group Selection tool.
Please note that,
1. The button E acts as a toggle, which means you just have to press E once, to get into or out of the enclosed mode.
2. You have to press E only after doing the marquee, pressing E in empty canvas will invoke the Free Transform tool or the tool the shortcut 'E' is assigned to.
We made a lot of effort in building this capability, so please try it out and let us what you all think!

zoom in/out percentage scroll bar
Please add zoom in/out percentage scroll bar back to navigator . Illustrator 6 has it and both Photoshop 6 and cloud have it.

Transform Shortcuts / Enter the transform panel with a keyboard shortcut
I want to be able to transform an object using the keyboard.
For example, in Sketch, I can manipulate an object by holding the command key (optionally with a 10x Shift-key modifier) and using the arrow keys to increase or decrease the height or width of an object. This tends to be easier than using the mouse or the Transform panel when making quick modifications. (Also, less painful for arthritic users!)
Please consider it.

Moving Artboards and Locked Layers
The latest CC updates' new feature allows locked/hidden layers to move when you move an artboard. This doesn't make sense since locked should mean locked. I am running into problems now because my company uses a lot of artboards to make print-production files, and sometimes you need to re-arrange the artboards while working on the file.
There should be a way to turn this feature on or off. Such as "keep locked/hidden layers locked when moving/duplicating artboards, or allow locked and hidden elements to move when artboard moves"77 votesWe have the fix available in the latest release. "Place... Show Import Options" check box to be Persistent
When placing a multi page PDF without checking "Show Import Options", Illustrator will almost never place the first page of the PDF document. It more often places the second page, or the last. This is a big problem for us. We are tired of doing the wrong layout over & over. I would recommend that "Show Import Options" checkbox be persistent, and fix the bug that makes Illustrator NOT place the first page of a multi page PDF document if the "Show Import Options" check box is not selected.

incorrect color assignments
Actions to change path color to black instead turn the path white on the first try. Repeating the exact same action flow a second time in a row turns the path black.

Short Cut for eye dropper tool can be engaged while working on type
Right now the eye dropper tool works really well.
I am currently using it to copy styles from other type that I am working on.
I normally select type, then manually select the eyedropper tool. But when repeated over and over I have to de-select type, short cut to type tool, select type, manually select eyedropper.I propose that the eye dropper tool use an alt or ctrl key in addition to "I" so that you can switch to the tool with a short cut while you still have type selected.

Allow a new feature to resize workspace so the page doesn't get hidden behind the dock
Several of us on Adobe Forums experience the same issue for many years. Often times the workspace window gets hidden behind the dock, or even below the visible area of the monitor, there is currently no way to adjust this. I am trying to resize the window of my current workspace and I cannot. Bottom right corner not visible. It's a shame that after 18 years of using this application we still have basic issues like this. Please fix this as soon as possible. Thank you so much.

Hide or gray out panels on second screen, if InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc. is in background / currently not in use.
When I am working with 2 or 3 or more Adobe Programs at same time, I have all the panels from all the programms on a second screen. If just one programm is open, then it is fine. But if there are more Adobe Programs running like Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and so on at same time, the screen is full of panels. There are no way to distinguish which panel belongs to which program. That disturbs the workflow. Back in the time of Windows XP and CS products, the panels of the Programs that were not currently used were grayed…

Bring back Quick Match in character font drop down menu
When you added the new font filtering system, you removed the feature Quick Match from the menu that had been previously available for quite some time. It makes sense to find a font, then be able to search for fonts similar without have to select a series of filters which may or may not produce a selection of similar fonts.

crop ratio
In photoshop, you're able to apply ratios that lock the cropping viewframe which you're then able to position over the photo. This would be great for illustrator as well.
