I would like the Share for Review links to show the file name instead of the random letters and numbers. When I have 90 documents to share among a dozen reviewers, they get really hard to track.

Rescale Recolor Window
It would be awesome if it was possible to rescale the Recolor Window or even the smooth & segmented color wheels on the Edit tab of the Recolor Window.
With the size now, it's difficult to control changes without changing each color individually in the Assign tab because of how small the color wheels are on the Edit tab. This challenge becomes worse when an illustration has more colors, especially when individual colors' small circles overlap with the bigger selection's circle.
Being able to rescale the Recolor Window or the color wheels would help users better tweak their illustrations (especially…

Edge Effects on Line Segment instead of Full Shape Border
It would be nice to be able to create a shape that has different edges between different points. At the moment, the closest that you can get with this is the width tool or by deleting a segment (which causes a host of issues, since it would no longer be a shape).
More broadly, by isolating line segments as editable aspects of a shape, it would be great to be able to apply edge effects (feathering, roughen, blur, etc.) only to a select number of segments on a shape.

Highlight linked files with mismatched color profiles.
It would be great if there was an option to either highlight or have a warning icon applied to links in the links list when there is a mismatched color profile. It would save me lots of time when hunting down links that need to be changed to match the working space when I am cleaning up a complex composition.

What do you think about the possibility of viewing layers in section, like in Powerpoint?
In the Italian version it’s Disponi > Riordina oggetti.

Library Colour Palettes – Standardise Across InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Standardise the following across applications and when adding to swatches:
- Retain 'Global'
- Retain colour name
- Retain grouping
- Retain order in group
- Retain group name
- Allow adding group
- As in InDesign, allow deleting swatch and replacing with another (i.e., delete RGB and replace with CMYK)

Active artboard should correspond to the focus of the mouse or object(s) last placed on it.
The active artboard should either be activated by the position of the mouse, or from the placement of the last object. For example, using the mouse, I move an object from one artboard to an adjacent one. Therefore, the active artboard should be the adjacent one since I just placed an object on it. The reason this important for me is when I want to place this object on a new artboard and immediately center it to the page. However unless, I click on this new artboard first to activate it, Illustrator still has the previous artboard as active, and…

Please make Mirror easier to use
The Mirror tool is such a hassle to use and get it working. People, can you please make it an easy toggle to turn off and on, that you can use right away, similar to programs like Procreate and Clip Studio Paint?

Scaling is messed up for the effect tab and font tab
The effects tab won’t scale to a larger size like 200% when on a small drawing display, the font tab also has problem with not shrinking down and stays too large clipping into the secondary screen. Can you please fix these two things?

When opening a file with missing links and fonts, add an option to the warning dialog to...
Place the image rather than trying to open it natively/embedded. In my screenshot here the idea is you could choose to Cancel, open a new document and Place in new document, as those are always my next steps when this issue arises.

Schriftanzeigeaktualisierungen beim Nachladen von fehlenden Schriften inclusive Aktualisierung bei Texten mit Silbentrennung.
Wenn Schriften nachgeladen werden, sei es manuell oder durch PlugIns, wird die Anzeige in Textfeldern mit Silbentrennung bezüglich der nachgeladenen Schrift NICHT aktualisiert.
Für die Anzeige ist die aktive Schrift + die eingestellte Sprache + das Wörterbuch von Bedeutung. Bei Änderung der aktiven Schrift durch nachladen, wird die Silbentrennung nicht automatisch aktualisiert.
Was zu falschen Umbrüchen im Dokument führen kann, welche nicht immer sofort bemerkt werden.
Eine Aktualisieren auch der Silbentrennung nach Laden einer Schrift bei einem geöffneten Dokument ist daher wünschenswert.3 votes -
Release unused Gen AI results
Using Gen AI easily clutters a document with unneeded information. Especially when multiple dartboards are involved, this slows down Ai quite a lot. Please make an easy function to delete all unused variations.

Easier access to Tools
Please rework the tools palette. Some ideas:
make it easy to use the full height of the monitor to show more tools
make it possible to select / activate tools directly through the All Tools overview, even when they are already loaded in the tools palette. It's inconvenient and annoying to watch an icon blink and then have to go into that to select a hidden tool.
make it possible to drag tools from All Tools that are already in the tools palette. Dragging should result in the desired tool on the desired spot, and remove it from the other…

Adjust colors to Black/White with a Threshold
I am missing an easy way to convert illustrator selections to pure black and white (not grayscale).
Comes in handy especially with Gen AI, since that does not understand how to create pure black and white results.2 votes -
Make it possible to edit user defined swatch libraries
For some reason, once a custom swatch library is defined, we can't edit it. An icon showing a pencil with a line through it indicates that. But why can't we make the swatch library editable (temporarily), e.,g. by alt-clicking the icon, or right mouse button it?
This is so rigid and inconvenient.
Also make it possible to save a swatch group as a new library, in stead of saving all in a newly created library. It's quite impossible to create a library from a subset of swatches currently.

Allow export file name to be customized
Currently, if I try to export all artboards separately, the export function automatically adds "{ArtBoardName}". For example, if the filename is ABC, and the artboards are 01 and 02, then I get two files: ABC01 and ABC_02. As far as I know, we cannot customize how the file name output format is. So if I want to have the filename to be using "ABC - 01" and "ABC - 02", t hen I would have export everything and then rename them. Swap values in Transform / Move
Surprised this software still doesn't have a simple toggle arrow button in it's Transform menus.
Like, swiping values between the Horizontal and Vertical planes with the Move tool.

Allow to select Dimension Text
The numbers displayed by the new Dimension Line Tool should be copyable and editable. Thus we will be able to easily use them in calculations of the golden ratio and edit the length of the line when needed.
