Come on now! I am in AI and open a file to work on when a popup appears telling me that a new version of AI is available. However, when the update 'button' is selected nothing happens! There used to be a check for updates under Help yet that does not exist anymore. When it did exist it worked. So what is gong on now? More frustration with AI!

Input Boxes Floating in the Workspace
Hi, since the 2019 release I have 2 floating input boxes in the workspace, I don't know where they belong but they werent there before. If I hover over the '1' it brings up a tooltip of 'Artboard Navigation'

Can not open a saved .ase color book
With the update to Illustrator CC 2019, I now can not open the .ase color book that we've been using for 3 years.
Please fix this as it is an incredibly inconvenient bug to encounter

Close, Save and Quit File Menu options are invisible
After upgrading Illustrator to version 23.0 (Windows 7 Pro), the Close, Save and Quit options under the File Menu are invisible. This is constant.

Spell Check doesn't understand what "Uncapitalized Start of Sentence" means.
While running spell check, Illustrator doesn't seem to understand that a comma is not the end of a sentence, or that the word following the comma is the start of a new sentence. See attached screen shots.
(running the version of Illustrator on Mac running OS 10.13.6)

Image won't move.
I am trying to move an image, but when I do it it opens up the multiselection tool.

CMD + D keys not working, and unable to rotate and copy object multiple times around object
Trying to rotate object multiple times around a circle, but CMD + D not working. Also when using rotation box, after clicking 'copy', command box automatically exits without even clicking OK and i'm taken back to drawing board without being given option to copy object again.

Offset Path-Transform Again (Crtl D)
Using Offset Path to enlarge an object, works fine. When I use: Transform Again (Crtl D) to duplicate the same action and make another larger object it no longer works. It worked prior to Illustrator 2019 when I needed to make a concentric object. Please fix.

Illustrator & Mohave
I performed the upgrade to Mojave 10.14 yesterday from High Sierra. Now I am dealing with some really strange & frustrating Finder & Adobe CC behavior. "An unexpected error occurred (error code -8011)" when I try to rename files in Finder.
Illustrator, instead of saving over my open working files, is generating new file versions named in numerical order -without my doing- and I am unable to change these filenames after closing them all and renaming them in Finder. And it sometimes skips a save, too. For example, when I hit Save in Illustrator, new file appears named "Filename 1.ai,…

colour themes/swatches/window never work
colour themes/swatches/window never work. Every time I try to do anything within the colour theme window I'm either asked to sign in when already signed in, or I try to create a theme and it 'saves' but doesn't actually do so, and afterward the theme window goes blank and I have to restart illustrator.
And now instead of doing work I'm here writing this and researching alternatives to adobe products. The sign in thing is driving me nuts.

Not Responding every time PDF saved
Every time I save my work as a PDF file my Illustrator freezes for up to 10 minutes at a time. This makes productivity EXTREMELY slow and frustrating!

macOS Mojave zoom in and out choppy
MacBook Pro 2017 just upgraded to macOS Mojave and the zoom is slow to respond and the artboard moves all over the place. any short term fixes would be appreciated.

Libraries drop down doesn't allow me to select other libraries
I can't click on other libraries from the one that's already showing. I click the drop down menu and I try to click another library, but nothing happens and I stay on the already selected library.

can't copy text of typeface name from character panel
selecting a typeface's name in the character panel and copying it gives you "Myriad Pro" when pasting.
This is not a consistent bug. Sometimes when trying to re-create it actually pastes the test of the right typeface you are trying to copy.

Opening File with Missing Fonts Crashes because of Missing Fonts Dialog
When opening a file sometimes the missing font dialog pops up and it crashes Ai, the dialog stays white/unload and causes Ai to crash

Illustrator not recognizing Arial font after setting up new computer
HI All, Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot, but this is my first post. I recently set up a new work computer (MacBook pro, High Sierra 10.13.6 ) to replace my older computer. I have typically made PDF's in illustrator using Arial font, but now when I open these older PDF's the text id highlighted as when the font is not recognized . as well if I import Arial text from excel it pastes it as symbols.

Live font preview panel isn´t working

I think that this is a old bug, but I already update AI to the latest version (CC 22.1) and the problema remains… This is really frustrated. Can you please, help?
