Reflect Tool moves rounded corners

Create a hollow compound path with two rectangles.
Round one of the corners.
Make an off-centre reflection with either tool palette or from Transform menu.
The inner path gets reflected but the outer path only gets moved to where it is expected
the 'preview' is correct but when I release the mouse any path having at least one rounded corner gets rotated 90º clockwise.

Transform Reflect not working properly, changing the object location as well as along with the flip a group object.
