Disable SHIFT + SPACE Keyboard Shortcut for Rotate Canvas A SHIFT+ SPACE keyboard shortcut for the rotate canvas tool was introduced in a minor version update of Ai 25 (sometime after 25.2.1). This keyboard shortcut is very disruptive when trying to make selections while panning around the artboard. For example, you used to be able to continually hold down the SHIFT and SPACE keys to pan around the artboard while quickly dragging the cursor around points or objects to add them to your selection. Animated zoom broken on rotated canvas When working on a rotated canvas (using the rotate view tool), animated zoom does not zoom around the mouse pointer. It works fine when the canvas is not rotated.
Steps to reproduce:
1: Enable animated zoom in Preferences->performance
2: Rotate the canvas to an arbitrary angle using the rotate view tool
3: Switch to the zoom tool and click+drag anywhere on the canvas. The view will zoom around some other point.6 votes -
New Rotate Tool Really don't like this new rotate canvas feature. It's too easy to accidentally rotate the canvas on a Mac when using two fingers to navigate the cursor.
I accidentally rotated the canvas and it will not snap back to 0. It jumps from 7 degrees to negative 6 degrees, with no 0 degree in sight.

Rotate View Tool - Alt + Transform Using the alt+tranform and the rotate view together is impossible because the object flickers between dramatically different sizes.
Replicate this bug by using the rotate view tool and rotating the view 180 degrees. When in this view, hold down alt and try to transform an objects scale. The object will flicker between sizes making it impossible to transform using alt.
