Missing Font On Documents That Were Just Open
I have been having issues with fonts dropping out of coworkers documents since I updated to CC2018 but this is the first time I have reopened one of my own files and had font claim to be missing that I was just using.
I had assumed previously that my coworkers had just had a different named version of the fonts but today I saved and closed one of my own files to restart my pc because AI was running slowly (separate issue, i know) but when i reopened my file 10 minutes later I have 6 fonts missing.
When I scroll through the system fonts I can find and replace them but I have about 1200 fonts on my pc so it is really time consuming. Can you tell me why this is happening? (just trying to type the name of the font into that only catches the first letter so i still have to go through all of the A fonts to find Arial)
Tried to close and reopen document without saving, same issue but font dropped out in even more locations.

I basically have the same error. I have a file open. No font warnings when opening.
I opened a different file to answer someone's question. I went back and now it says that I have fonts missing per the highlighted text. However, in the text menu there are no missing fonts. They all appear active and present just like your screen shot.I closed the file and reopened. It was fine. I went to talk to someone came back and the font is "missing" again.
In typing this message this has been going on for a really long time. We use Myriad for our proofs and it's always active on my machine. I can go to open and change the text on a proof block and then the font isn't active.
I can bring a new proof block into the file. Make my changes, save the file then the fonts aren't active anymore.
