Google Backup and Sync (aka Google Drive) locks Illustrator files and saving fails unless I quit Backup and Sync.
This happens intermittently but frequently. Google support assures me this is not caused by them, though I don't believe it. Still, is there anything that can be done from Adobe's side?

I have to quit GD everytime when I need to save Illustrator file, it's annoying.

I agree. Whilst I can see why Adobe would prefer us to use the Creative Cloud storage, when our organisation uses Google Drive as it’s file sharing platform, having files save only to the Creative Cloud platform makes the iPad version of Illustrator a difficult tool to use.

Fix the software to be able to save files to Google Drive. Currently if I save over an existing file hosted on Google Drive the new version does not save (if I quit the software, then try and open the file, only the original save/creation file loads, not the most recent version, which results in the loss of work).
