Saving .ai file on Catalina taking way too long
Saving (command + S ) .ai file on Catalina taking way too long. Force quit applications says illustrator is not responding, left alone for about 8 minutes, it finally saves.

What about the version that is today, I wonder. Does it still take minutes to save?

Same problem here...happens with save as or save a copy. After naming the file and providing the format, it takes 2-3 minutes to bring up the illustrator dialog for that format. Once options are selected, it then saves at the usual speed. Only experienced this after upgrade to Catalina.
