Just a horrible program all together. Whatever happened to the Illustrator of days past? I think the program has become SO complex as it has "evolved" that it has become bogged down and quirky. Just to try to copy and paste a whole segment made up of multiple points is irritating. Why can't it paste a section, as opposed to just select segments of an object, when I choose the selection tool to do this. (I know not to use the direct selection tool for this).

It is just SO cumbersome, and without a lot of the commands or nice features that InDesign or even Photoshop has. It's like living in a different world, and not a good one with Illustrator. (Version 2021).
