Expand and Expand Appearance Greyed out since update
My 'Expand" And "Expand Appearance" has been greyed out ever since the recent updates. Its like this with every file of mine. They are NOT on locked artboards, they are all expandable files and I tried changing color settings and importing different file types, to see if that would fix it but nothing changed, everything is still greyed out.

After the latest update to 25.3 the 'Expand..' function is not working anymore and 'Expand Appearance' is greyed out. Did a reset of my preferences and even reinstalled Illustrator, but problem is still there.
Working on a MBP 2019 w/ macOS 11.4 + Illustrator version 25.3

Expand Appearance is not working in CC 2020 for me either.
Where is the solution explained by Adobe Support?
