Illustrator 2022 GPU Preview freezes on file load/zoom/switch with RTX 2060 and RTX 3060
Illustrator 2022 (26.2.1) freezes for up to 5 minutes when GPU Preview is enabled on file load, zoom, switch. The CPU usage rises to 99% during the freeze and a system level interruption is observed at the end of the freeze that lasts up to 10 seconds. A memory leak takes place after every freeze even after all files are closed. Only closing Illustrator entirely releases de the abnormally allocated memory. CPU Preview is not affected by this.

Same issue with my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super. It was working fine last week.
