Heavy lag in Illustrator using Apple M2
I just installed Illustrator 28 on my brand new MacBook Pro M2 (16GB RAM, 512GB Storage), a pretty well specced machine. Mac OS Sonoma 14.0.
I'm experiencing heavy lags in multiple forms: When typing text, when moving paths or objects.
This happens when "View using GPU" is enabled. Without it the lag is gone, but other graphical bugs seem to occur, so this is not an option for too long.
I uninstalled AI and reinstalled it freshly, not keeping my settings to rule out this as a possible cause. Issue is still there.
I need a fix as soon as possible, as I'm the only person responsible for all things design in my company.
